nfl Same game parlay STRATEGY

The key to long-term profitability in SGP betting is correlation. Getting the broad story of a game correct makes it easier to hit a parlay, as you’re not cheering for disparate and potentially even contradictory things to happen. When reviewing winning SGP tickets, we can think backward and determine what game-script ideas and correlations went into constructing the parlay.

David Njoku Props

As the Browns can no longer run the ball effectively after losing their top three offensive tackles and Nick Chubb at RB, it makes sense for Cleveland to continue airing the ball out in this matchup. No quarterback is hotter right now than Joe Flacco, who has thrown for 300+ passing yards in three straight weeks. Even against New York’s elite pass defense, I expect Flacco to have plenty of volume here.

While New York’s backend has certainly been stingy against opposing passing attacks, they have hemorrhaged a tremendous amount of production to opposing TEs. This is another spot where I can see the Browns featuring Njoku. Last week, the Jets allowed eight catches and a touchdown to Commanders TEs and, for the season, are allowing the league’s second-most TDs to the position.

Flacco found himself a security blanket over the middle of the field with Njoku. The Browns top TE has averaged 10 targets, 6.1 receptions, and 61.2 receiving yards over his last seven games. Expect Njoku to wreak havoc on TNF.

Breece Hall Receiving Props

Even though this Jets offense is a complete mess, there are still a few angles to target. The Jets will likely be trailing all night with New York slated as seven-point road underdogs. Enter RB Breece Hall and his astronomical 33% target share from QB Trevor Siemian in Week 16. Hall banked season highs in touches (32) and snap rate (77%) last week, which should only continue into this week.

Hall is unlikely to find rushing success in this spot, as Cleveland is a significant home favorite combined with their rushing defense ranking eighth best by EPA and sixth best by success rate. I would, however, expect him to soar over his receiving props. Quite frankly, Hall’s receiving stats are the likes of a typical WR recently. He enters Week 17 with 8+ targets in four of his last five games. Receiving yards have also been easy to come by for Hall, averaging 48.2 over his last five games. While efficiency may not be prime here, volume is certain.

New York Jets Team Total Under 13.5

The Jets’ offense has been nothing short of a dumpster fire this year. New York scored more than 13 points for just the second time across their last nine games last week and needed to face the worst defense in football to do so. This week will be a more difficult challenge as they will face the No.1 defense in success rate.

While the Jets put up 30 points last week, they still managed just 4.5 yards per play. That result was a little better than its season average of 4.3, which ranks 30th in the league. They capitalized on a bunch of foolish Commanders turnovers. It’s a tough spot for this offense to put up more than 14 points, which it’s failed to do in 10 of 15 games on the season.

Trevor Siemian will start once again this week as Zach Wilson deals with a concussion. Siemian has been bad this year. The veteran finished last week as QB No. 31 in CPOE with an expected completion rate eight points below expected. He also finished 28th in QB rating and 34th in average intended air yards at 3.3 yards, per Next Gen Stats.

Even if he can manage to move the ball, that low intended air yards figure, which correlates well with Breece Hall’s Receiving over above, will move slowly. Longer drives mean fewer possessions, which makes the team total under even more likely to hit.
