Chiefs WR Rashee Rice over receiving yards

Kansas City finally started utilizing Rice as a true WR1 last week, and the results speak for themselves. The rookie receiver from SMU tallied eight receptions on ten targets for 107 yards and a score. The ten targets were surprisingly the first time he’d hit double digits in a game this season. Outside of Rice, the Chiefs receiver room is bare. Marques Valdes Scantling has bricks for hands, and Kadarius Toney missed last week’s game with an ankle injury. Even if he plays against Green Bay, Toney’s dropped passes are well-documented.

Additionally, the Packers have been torched by WR1s this season, ranking 23rd in DVOA against them thus far. Their defense has allowed WR1s to go over this number in two of their last three games, the other being the Pittsburgh game. Last week, they yielded 95 yards to Amon-Ra St. Brown, and the week before that, Keenan Allen torched them for 116 yards. If Rice continues this trajectory as a WR1, we should expect him to comfortably go over this number tonight.

Chiefs RB Isaiah Pacheco over rushing yards

For starters, Pacheco’s usage has been going up. Over the past three games, he’s tallied at least 15 carries. In 11 games this season, he’s totaled 50 or more rushing yards in eight. His matchup tonight is favorable, as he’s greeted tonight by a Green Bay defense that ranks 18th in run DVOA and 20th in rush EPA. Since Week 8, they rank 8th in rush EPA, but that number is slightly inflated. They faced an ineffective Vikings rushing attack and an injured Rams offense operating in a negative game script.

We also saw Pacheco have success on the ground in outdoor games last year. In games where Pacheco had double-digit carries in outdoor games last season, he notched 58, 66, 69, 70, and 82 rushing yards. If he hits 10 carries tonight, there’s little reason to believe he will go under this rushing yards prop.

Packers WR Christian Watson under 18.5 longest reception

Bettors and Christian Watson fantasy owners rejoiced last week with Watson’s breakout game of 94 yards and a touchdown, but I’m expecting the Chiefs to lock him up tonight. Quietly, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense ranks 8th in explosive rate, doing a fantastic job at limiting splash plays. In fact, they’ve kept WR1s under this number in two of their last three games, one of which was against Tyreek Hill. Part of their success in this department is derived from their blitz and pressure rate.

The Chiefs own the highest pressure rate in the league at 27.5%, a tick above the Lions’ 24.8% they faced last week. Spags is bringing a blitz on over 34% of snaps (6th highest), which aids their high-pressure rate. Love has been fantastic this season when he hasn’t been pressured, tied for the 15th-best passing grade (via PFF) when he’s had a clean pocket. While his passing grade ranks 13th in the league under pressure, he’s completing a mere 45% of passes when pressured. That’s the fifth lowest out of quarterbacks with a minimum of 100 dropbacks. I don’t see Spagnuolo giving Love enough time to find Watson on a deep ball tonight.

Best of luck betting on SNF player props!
