The NFL Week 4 slate for Sunday wraps up with the Chiefs visiting the Jets on Sunday Night Football. These SNF player props trickled in on Wednesday, giving bettors plenty of time to sink their teeth in before kickoff. Kansas City is a road favorite, with New York on the moneyline to win the game. These are two stout defenses, but I like quite a few props for this game. Below, I’ll explain who I’m targeting for SNF player props as Week 4 comes to a close. SNF PLAYER PROPS: CHIEFS at JETS

Breece Hall under longest rush

Hall has popped off the longest run this season with an 83-yard scamper in Week 1 against the Bills. Outside of that, he’s been pedestrian. Outside of that, he only has one rush for more than 20 yards. He’s averaging 5.9 yards per attempt, but the 83-yard run massively inflates that. If we take that play out, Hall is averaging a mere 2.84 yards per carry. Let’s bet against Hall popping off a big gainer against a nasty KC defense. I also believe that the Jets will be trailing early on in this one, forcing them into a negative game script and the Jets to abandon the running game. If they do that, Hall’s under here is even more appealing. The public tends to lean towards overs on these player props, making me believe that some of these unders have value.

Travis Kelce over receiving yards

Kelce’s over will undoubtedly be popular after he garnered so much attention with T-Swift in attendance last weekend. However, the Jets have allowed the fifth-most receiving yards to TEs this season. In terms of DVOA against tight ends, they rank 30th in the NFL.

Last week, New York allowed New England’s TEs to log 106 yards, over half of Mac Jones‘ passing yards on the day. They cannot contain this position group. Even dating back to last year, TE1s have obliterated them. They allowed Evan Engram to snatch seven receptions for 113 yards in a loss last season. Robert Tonyan had his best game of the 2022 campaign against the Jets when he notched ten receptions and 90 receiving yards. If Kelce goes under this number, it’s because the Chiefs defense is forcing turnovers, and this game gets out of hand. Thus, the Chiefs took their foot off the gas and pulled starters like they did against the Bears. The Jets, however, may make a concerted effort to keep Kelce from putting on a show in New York.

Zach Wilson to throw an interception

Regardless of whether he has a clean pocket or is being pressured, Wilson is throwing interceptions at an alarming rate again. He’s thrown four interceptions in total, which slot him at third in the league. Even if the Jets’ woeful offensive line keeps him upright Sunday night, the young QB from BYU has thrown three interceptions in clean pockets this season. He hasn’t had many clean pockets, though, as the O-line has yielded the second-highest pressure rate in the league. This is a bad matchup with a Chiefs defense that has logged 31 pressures, which ranks 11th in the league. I’m looking for Wilson to throw another interception and possibly get benched against a defense that is eager to face him.
