Strategy For Bills at Dolphins SNF Touchdown ODDS

The Bills are road favorites, and the game carries a -point over/under. Implied team totals make the expected final score: Bills 26, Dolphins 23. That means we should expect three touchdowns from each team.

The last time these two teams played, the Bills hung 48. However, things have developed in interesting ways since. Buffalo has leaned ever more on its running game, while the Dolphins have experienced a rash of injuries affecting their skill players and both lines.

Bills At Dolphins ATTD Scorer Bets

Will Bills QB Josh Allen score a touchdown? ()

Part of the Bills leaning into their rushing has been a heaping of helping of more Allen using his wheels. The stout signal-caller has averaged 8.2 rushing attempts per game since Week 11.

A good dose of those has come in the red zone, as Allen has eight touchdowns in the past five games, scoring in each of them. Some have come via the Eagles’ rugby-style push play, which the Bills have apparently co-opted to great success. Bad news for James Cook fantasy owners but great news for Josh Allen touchdown odds bettors.

Until the Bills either shy away from using that play or Allen starts getting closer to -120 like Jalen Hurts sometimes is, he should remain a decent play in ATTD markets.

Will Dolphins RB De’Von Achane score a touchdown? ()

Achane looks like the man this weekend, with Raheem Mostert likely to miss his second straight contest with an injury. Mostert didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday, and with Achane a more than capable backup and a playoff spot already sealed, there’s no real reason for the team to push it.

Jeff Wilson Jr. stealing goal-line work remains a minor concern, but Achane did get most of the red-zone carries against the Ravens. Given that he also had a big day with 137 scrimmage yards, the team has all the incentive in the world to give him a chance to stay hot.

Against a Bills defense that’s below-average by EPA/play allowed on the ground (22nd), Achane should get some chances. He can also do damage in the passing game, evidenced by his score against the Ravens.

Will Dolphins WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. score a touchdown? ()

Tyreek Hill is hogging a lot of the touchdown equity, but the Bills have already shown they can do solid work on him, holding him to 58 yards in the first meeting. If anything, they should zero in on him even further, with Jaylen Waddle likely to miss the game injured.

Wilson stepped into the starting lineup last week and promptly scored. He actually led the team’s pass catchers in snaps (59, well ahead of Hill’s 50) and tallied a very solid 62% share the prior week, even with Waddle playing a good chunk of that game.

At a fairly long price, Wilson’s worth a look. But, any sign that Waddle might play would scuttle this one and result in quite a different price.

Best of luck betting SNF touchdown odds.
