NFL Combine Odds: Best 40-Yard-Dash Among Betting Options

The NFL Scouting Combine begins on Thursday, and a couple of betting apps have opened markets for the workouts. NFL combine odds allow users to bet on some of the action in the coming days as players try to prepare for the NFL draft.

Combine Odds: Betting Options

40-Yard Dash Betting

Last season, Xavier Worthy had NFL social media buzzing after setting an NFL combine record with a 4.21 40. He went on to enjoy a productive rookie season with the Chiefs. DraftKings has set odds on whether anyone will break Worthy's record. They also have an over/under for the fastest time run this weekend.

FanDuel, meanwhile, has opened some player-specific 40-yard dash markets. Here's a look at the top favorites to run the fastest 40. Every other player is +2000 or longer. FD also lists separate position-specific markets for the 40, i.e., fastest RB, fastest TE, etc.

Wide Receiver And Running Back 40-Yard-Dash Betting

Here's a look at the odds for the fastest wide receiver in NFL combine odds. Note that Travis Hunter isn't among the players included in this market. Texas WR Isaiah Bond boasted he plans to break the record, but he isn't even the betting favorite here.

We've listed the top four in the odds. Other players come in at 37-1 or longer.

As for the backs, Virginia Tech's Bhayshul Tuten and Tennessee's Dylan Sampson share top honors in the odds.

Bench Press Betting

Stephen Paea from Oregon State holds the bench press record. FanDuel has a market for whether anyone can break the 15-year-old mark.

Meanwhile, the over/under for most bench reps is at a measly 36.5.

Vertical Jump Betting

North Carolina DB Gerald Sensabaugh holds the record for the vertical jump at 46 inches, which dates back to 2005.

DK posted an over/under on the best vert.

Broad Jump Betting

Not the most thrilling workout, perhaps, but DK has a market for the best broad jump.

3-Cone Drill Betting

Again, FanDuel has opted for a market on whether anyone will break the record in the 3-cone. This is a bit more recent, with Oklahoma CB Jordan Thomas owning the top mark at 6.28 (2018).

DraftKings' over/under for the best 3-cone time is at 6.555.

20-Yard Shuttle Betting

Much like several other markets, FanDuel is focusing on the combine record. In this case, South Carolina CB Dunta Robinson holds the mark from way back in 2004. He finished the drill in 3.75 seconds.

DraftKings posted an over/under on the best time at 3.955 seconds.
