NFL Divisional playoff odds start this weekend with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Kansas City Chiefs. Sportsbooks have already lined up promos for a Jaguars and Chiefs same game parlay. We’ll share those below, along with the SGP betting angles I am looking at in this game. With the right correlations, there’s money to potentially be made.
Jacksonville, off the third-largest playoff comeback in history against the Chargers last week, are fairly sizable underdogs. The Chiefs come off a bye week, but with the Jags rolling in the second half of the season, anything is possible on any given … Saturday. Jaguars vs. Chiefs Same Game Parlay Strategy
With SGPs, the most reliable way to be profitable with them over time is to make sure you’re correlating your plays in a way that makes hitting all legs more likely. Knowing that Kansas City is favoured by more than a touchdown, it would take a rather shocking result for them to not be in a positive game script for at least parts of this game.
Leg 1: Jerick McKinnon Anytime TD
With the Chiefs, they’ve always been much more likely to go away from their running back by committee looks in the playoffs, as they did with Damien Williams in the pre-Clyde Edwards Helaire days. They tend to pick one running back, and Jerick has been the one getting the most valuable touches in recent weeks. With a run happy expected script, there’s little reason to think they’ll stop now.
Leg 2: Travis Etienne Over 64.5 Rushing Yards
It might seem risky, but even in the mother of all bad game scripts last week, he still got over 100 yards. If the Jaguars are going to keep this game close, it’s going to be with Etienne getting that yardage, if not more, and killing clock in the interim. Against a middle of the road run defense, Etienne will get the carries to get this number.
Leg 3: Travis Etienne Under 74.5 Receiving Yards
For the receiving games, the Chiefs will still throw, but with their weird offense and so many ancillary pieces, JuJu Smith Schuster is one of only two Chiefs skill position players with an elevated total. The problem is, he’s not hitting anything close to them. In his last 8 games, he’s only gone over 40 yards twice. Under 74.5 receiving yards seems like an incredibly sensible move.
These three legs pay out +370, and if you add in Chiefs ML to it, it can get up to +475. The Chiefs are overwhelmingly likely to win this game, and the Jerick Anytime TD and the Under on JuJu both correlate well with it.
