NFL Offensive ROY Betting History
Although QBs have collected NFL MVP hardware in each of the last 12 seasons, that same tradition doesn’t hold for this market. He started in all 17 regular-season games, plus Los Angeles’ playoff loss at Detroit.
Does this historical “trend” benefit two-way star Travis Hunter, or could Ward join Jayden Daniels and C.J. Stroud as the third straight quarterback to cash in his NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds?
Bet On Ward Or Hunter?
As intriguing as the odds of Ward (+330) winning the award may appear, I’m not bullish enough on the Titans to bet on their new weapon this early. As for Hunter (+600), his unknown snap rate on both sides of the ball makes it difficult to assess his market value. You’ll find his odds to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honor below.
NFL Offensive ROY Longshot
I’ll wait until August to place most of my NFL futures wagers, but Bears rookie tight end Coleston Loveland (+3000) is an intriguing longshot to monitor. Under first-year coach Ben Johnson, Chicago’s offense has plenty of upside in Caleb Williams’ sophomore campaign. Remember that Johnson used a bevy of dual tight-end sets during his tenure as the Lions’ offensive coordinator.
The 6-foot-6, 248-pound receiver broke Michigan’s single-season record with 56 catches in 2024. Considering his speed, he possesses three-level upside as a route runner.
