Will Daniels Shine?
Many reports have raved about Daniels’ accuracy in training camp. Since the Jets haven’t employed their starting defense much in recent preseasons, he may face a slew of backups. However, their depth held strong against former No. 1 pick Bryce Young in last year’s contest, limiting Young to one first down via three possessions.
Moreover, Washington is searching for wide receiver depth. Daniels could see more work with rookie Luke McCaffrey and veteran Olamide Zaccheaus instead of Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson.
