AFC Divisional Look-Ahead Odds
We’ll start in the AFC. As the top seed, the Chiefs will face the lowest-seeded team that advances, which is likely the Chargers. They’re favored over the Texans on the road, though not prohibitively so.
K.C. has already beaten these teams collectively three times, though the Chargers put a bit of a scare into them in Arrowhead, falling 19-17.

The more highly anticipated matchup comes on the other side of the bracket. Baltimore and Buffalo have appeared to be on a collision course all season. They met in Week 4, with the Ravens putting a 35-10 beating on the Bills in Baltimore.
Buffalo went on to have the better season, though, so they’ve earned home-field advantage in a possible rematch.

NFC Divisional Look-Ahead Odds
The NFC divisional odds have a more robust set of betting options. That’s probably because the market-setters see more realistic scenarios that involve first-round upsets.
Detroit has odds for three possible second-round matchups. Like the Chiefs, they’ve already beaten these teams. In Detroit’s case, they did so five times by an average of 8.6 per game, though that’s skewed by the 31-9 rout over Minnesota to end the season.

Philadelphia also has three hypothetical markets. The Eagles were creamed by the Bucs, 33-16, but that came with significant injuries to their offense (A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith). They crushed the Rams, 37-20, and didn’t play the Vikings.

Finally, there’s a hypothetical market for the Vikings vs. Bucs. For this matchup, which didn’t occur in the regular season, to come to fruition, Green Bay would have to beat the Eagles.
