NFL player props and same-game parlays are now available at the best betting sites. This weekend’s schedule presents a Saturday doubleheader. The day’s first matchup is an AFC North showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens. NFL Week 18 Odds show the Steelers as point road favorites. The Over/Under for this game is set at .

Below, we’ll highlight NFL player props and a potential SGP strategy for this contest, with the Steelers needing to win to keep playoff hopes alive. Meanwhile, the Ravens will rest many starters, having already secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

NFL Player Props: steelers at ravens

nfl Same game parlay STRATEGY

The key to winning SGP bets is correlation. Getting the broad story of a game correct makes it easier to hit a parlay, as you’re not cheering for disparate and even contradictory things to happen. When reviewing winning SGP tickets, we can think backward and determine what game-script ideas and correlations went into constructing the parlay.

Bettors must note that after last week’s win, the Ravens have nothing to play for in Week 18. Especially with recent injuries to key players, we expect them to rest some starters and take the unofficial double bye week.

Potential Ravens Under Props

The road to the Super Bowl in the AFC goes through Baltimore. There’s plenty of incentive for Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to rest his starters.

Baltimore will either rest their starters entirely or limit the amount of time they play. That’s where bettors must consider betting the under if sportsbooks even props for Ravens’ skill-position players. As of Friday, most had not.

We know Tyler Huntley will start at QB, not presumptive MVP Lamar Jackson.

The last time the Ravens had the No. 1 seed was in the 2019 season. John Harbaugh did rest his starters that week. If Baltimore’s starters ultimately rest the entire game, one should consider betting the under on the Ravens team total. Like we see in lower-scoring games in the preseason with backups getting a lot of playing time, a similar low score can certainly happen in this spot.

WR Steelers WR George Pickens Receiving Props

Pickens is quietly putting together a highly productive 2023 campaign. After having his effort questioned in Week 15, Pickens has rebounded with games of 195 yards and 131 yards. Fill-in starting QB Mason Rudolph has targeted Pickens a team-high 30.6% of the time since he took over as the starter. Pickens has 51.8% of the team’s air yards with an average depth of target of 15.0 yards downfield the past two weeks.

Facing an elite Baltimore pass defense back in Week 5, Pickens caught six passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. With Baltimore likely playing backups in the secondary this week, Pickens should continue to shine.

RB Najee Harris Rushing Props

Although fellow RB Jaylen Warren continues to run with more efficiency, the Steelers seem to be content on giving more carries to Harris. Pittsburgh was playing in positive game-script last week and gave Harris 27 carries.

Game script projectors should expect the Steelers to be playing in positive game script once again this week. Pittsburgh needs a win to have a shot at a playoff berth, while the Ravens are more than likely to play their backups for most of this game.

Now that we have established Harris should get a tremendous amount of opportunities in this game, let’s factor in the “swiss cheese” matchup he gets facing the Ravens run defense. There has been a clear way to attack this Baltimore defense in 2023, and that is establishing the run.

In Weeks 10-16, the Ravens run defense ranked:

  • #28 in success rate allowed
  • #27 in EPA/rush allowed
  • #17 in YPC allowed
  • #23 in yards after contact per run allowed

We saw the Dolphins have tremendous success running the ball against the Ravens in Week 17, as De’Von Achane ran for over seven yards a carry. Look for Harris to go over his rushing line in this one.
