NFL Same game parlay STRATEGY

The key to long-term profitability in SGP betting is correlation. Getting the broad story of a game correct makes it easier to hit a parlay, as you’re not cheering for disparate and potentially even contradictory things to happen. When reviewing winning SGP tickets, we can think backward and determine what game-script ideas and correlations went into constructing the parlay.

This game features arguably the top two defenses in the NFL this season. The Ravens and Chiefs are first and second in points allowed per game. Kansas City is allowing a league-low 2.9 scoring plays per game. Baltimore is second in allowing 3.2 scoring plays per game. Chunk plays will also be a struggle for both offenses in this game. The Ravens are second in the NFL in yards per play allowed (4.6), while the Chiefs are fourth (4.7).

Over bettors should be extremely cautious, especially when betting on anytime touchdown odds for Chiefs players. Just 42.1% of the scoring plays against Baltimore this season have been touchdowns (second in the NFL).

Potential NFL player prop Bets

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Rushing Props

It has been so hard to have passing success against this Kansas City defense this season. Quarterback Josh Allen was just 12 of 20 for 3.8 yards per pass attempt in the second half in the divisional round. For the season now, the Chiefs have allowed a league-low 55.8% completion rate in the second half and just eight total touchdown passes.

The lack of expected passing success from Jackson in this spot leads me to want his over on rushing yards. The Texans played man coverage on 52.8% of Jackson’s dropbacks last week. We know how successful QBs are when rushing the ball while facing a high percentage of man coverage. Jackson ran for 100 yards against Houston.

Kansas City deployed the sixth-highest man coverage rate in the league this year, playing man on 30.9% of dropbacks. In Jackson’s three games facing a defense led by Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo, he has had rushing lines of 46 yards, a TD, 83 yards, 107 yards, and two TDs. Jackson has been no stranger to running aggressively in the playoffs. Last week was his third 100-yard rushing game in five total postseason games. The Chiefs are 29th on the season in rushing yards allowed per game to quarterbacks.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco Rushing Props

Pacheco turned 16 touches into 111 yards and a touchdown against the Bills in the divisional round. Pacheco has now found the end zone in six consecutive games. He has now played five full games without fellow RB Jerick McKinnon. In those games, Pacheco has totaled 20 touches or more in four of the five games.

The Ravens have been an up-and-down run defense to close the season. They allowed just 29 yards on 11 carries to Texans RBs in the Divisional Round. However, that was coming off, allowing over 100 rushing yards to the Rams, 49ers, Dolphins, and Steelers in four of their previous five games. It’s pretty safe to assume that the Texans were one the worst rushing offenses this year, hence their struggles last week. Pacheco bettors should be confident that the Chiefs won’t fall behind like Houston did a week ago. This rushing line feels low for an RB that has rushed for 89 or more yards in four of his last five games played.
