Fourteen NFL teams are about to enter the postseason but for the fan-bases of 18 other franchises their full attention will soon be on the 2021 NFL Draft. Here we will provide an updated NFL Mock Draft that looks at the first two rounds and glance at the draft odds that several sportsbooks have already posted.
2021 NFL Draft odds
PointsBet and FanDuel have had draft odds up for several weeks now, with it being pretty much a lock that Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is going to be picked first overall. Lawrence is -1000 to go No. 1 overall at PointsBet and -6000 to be tabbed first at FanDuel Sportsbook.
FanDuel also has odds posted for which team will draft Lawrence, with the Jaguars now at -430, the Jets at +280 and the Broncos at +2200.
The real intrigue when it comes to this NFL Mock Draft is what will happen at No. 2? It’s looking likely that the Jets will land there. Will they start over at the quarterback position with Ohio State QB Justin Fields, who is widely regarded as the second best QB in this draft? Or will they opt to add talent elsewhere and stick with Sam Darnold under center?
It will also be fascinating to see which other teams select quarterbacks in the first two rounds. Here we have BYU’s Zach Wilson going to the Panthers, North Dakota State’s Trey Lance going to the Patriots and Florida QB Kyle Trask heading to the Bears. Other intriguing potential first round selections include the Eagles picking heralded LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase and the Broncos going with WR Jaylen Waddle.
