The Vikings are underdogs to win the game without Justin Jefferson, but the Niners have key injuries on offense too. This matchup has all the makings for some primetime chaos. Niners Vikings Player Props & Same Game Parlay Strategy

With the Vikings down Justin Jefferson and teetering on the edge with a 2-4 record, the Niners are understandably sizable favorites. The Niners will be looking to bounce back off a loss to Cleveland in Week 6, but they have injury concerns. Trent Williams, Deebo Samuel, and Christian McCaffrey all left Sunday’s game with injuries and have uncertain availability for Week 7. Samuel has been ruled out, Williams is doubtful, and McCaffrey could be on a snap count.

MNF Player Props & SGP Legs To Consider

Niners Moneyline ()

The Niners can be without all three of their key offensive injuries and still easily win this game. The Vikings are 18th in Offensive EPA and without the only player who did anything of value on that offense. Alexander Mattison is averaging 2.7 yards/carry the last two weeks, while Kirk Cousins was 21st in EPA and Success Rate last week without Jefferson. The Vikings are who they were last year, except they’re not getting insanely lucky in 1 score games.

The Niners, on the other hand, are still the dominant team they were. Second by Offensive EPA and 3rd defensively, the Niners should thoroughly strangle Minnesota’s offense. And if that happens, it doesn’t matter whether Deebo, CMC, and Williams are 100% because San Fran will still win.

George Kittle Over Receiving Yards ()

Where the San Francisco injuries do matter is in terms of the Niners’ route tree. If CMC and Deebo are either out or limited, then George Kittle will be the beneficiary. Kittle’s been a disappointment so far this season, getting more than 3 catches only one time this season. That means that his props across the board are lower, making this a good buy low spot.

If Williams can’t go or can’t be as effective, Purdy will need to get the ball out quickly. Short and intermediate routes to Kittle, especially if Deebo and CMC’s diets of screens are reduced, make a lot of sense as a way to keep the offense moving and Purdy upright.

KJ Osborn Anytime Touchdown ()

With Justin Jefferson out, a lot of the money going into Vikings touchdown markets will be going to Mattison. Given Mattison’s lack of efficiency since Jefferson went down, if the Vikings are going to score, there are better bets. However, the quality of the defense they’re facing could mean the chances might be thin. This means getting the Vikings’ number 1 red zone threat is key.

Osborn leads the team in Red Zone targets and the Vikings are likely going to be throwing all game. This is a logical way to back the Vikings offense.

Kirk Cousins Interception ()

Cousins has thrown for 4 interceptions in 6 games so far this season, which is an inauspicious start for the record holder for Completion% in a season. The problem for Cousins is the game script lends itself to an increased chance of throwing an interception. With the Niners likely playing from ahead, they’ll be able to tee off on Cousins, who will have to throw a lot. If that’s the case, either the Niners pass rush can force an errant throw, or just the pressure of having to increase the depth of his throws can cause Cousins issues.

The Niners have 10 interceptions in 6 games so far this season, in large part because their explosive offense has forced opponents to increase their passing volume. If Prime Time Cousins has to start chucking to come back, a bad ball or three is a lock.
