Following the team’s bye, RB Austin Ekeler has reportedly said there’s a “99 percent chance” he’ll return for MNF. Ekeler crosses the goal line more often than just about anyone, but bettors will have to weigh that reality against the potential for a managed workload.

With Ekeler and Keenan Allen hoarding all the touchdown scorer equity on the Chargers’ end of things, bettors can find some long prices on other Chargers. One place they could look for some value is under-the-radar TE Donald Parham Jr.
Surprisingly enough, Parham is tied with Allen for the most touchdown catches on the team at three. Interestingly, he also ranks second in red-zone targets and catches. However, do note that his snap share dropped last week, although that may have been due to the Chargers opening up a big lead against the Raiders.
Parham might be a nice longshot play against a Cowboys team that ranks ninth-worst in fantasy points per game allowed to tight ends and just got shredded by George Kittle.
Chargers QB Justin Herbert ()
Another trait the Cowboys have shown thus far is a strong preference for man coverage. Per PFF’s tracking, the Cowboys rank third in the NFL in man coverage rate.
Man coverage means eyes on receivers, and not on the quarterback. Herbert has crossed the goal line three times this year, including twice last week against the Raiders. He could do so again at a long price here, particularly if Ekeler doesn’t see his usual number of carries.
