Hall Of Fame Game Trend?
Considering the level of personnel that you’re handicapping in the 2022 Hall of Fame Game, there isn’t much to go off of in regards to positional matchups and advantages on either side of the ball. Regardless, you should never blindly follow a betting trend, but what do the recent results say?
Over the course of the last eight Hall of Fame Games, six of them went under the total by an average margin of 8.75 points. Given the fact that these totals were set in the low 30s to begin with, we’ve seen backup offenses struggle below the betting market’s expectation — especially because they’re usually bet down over the course of the week.
However, Las Vegas and Jacksonville aren’t necessarily scheduled to follow suit, as this figure is currently the lowest total during the aforementioned span. Hence, it may just be correctly priced.
