Odds on Aidan Hutchinson Draft Position
The former Michigan star is currently -160 to be the first selection by the Jacksonville Jaguars, as the betting market has reacted to the acclamation for fellow edge rusher Travon Walker (+140).
Although there were more valuable odds on Hutchinson going second overall or higher a month ago, DraftKings and PointsBet are both offering +160. With the way NFL draft reports are heading, you’re unlikely to see a better price tag before April 28.
How Low Could Aidan Hutchinson Drop?
I dug into this market with a trio of NFL mock drafters — Evan Silva (Establish The Run), Anthony Amico (ETR) and Matthew Freedman (FantasyPros) — who all tallied a top-50 mock draft score in 2021. In fact, Silva has notched a top-10 score in three of the last five drafts.
They’re profitable with their NFL draft bets as a result. Each one projected Hutchinson to go to the Detroit Lions with the No. 2 pick. Amico went a step further, noting that he wouldn’t be surprised if Hutchinson fell to the New York Jets with the fourth overall pick.
If you’re eyeing long-shot draft odds, the 6-foot-7, 260-pounder is +3500 to join forces with Robert Saleh’s team at FanDuel Sportsbook. But at DraftKings, Hutchinson is +4000 to be selected at No. 4, which gives bettors a bit of wiggle room if the Jets were to trade the pick. Those are the best odds you’ll find at any of the legal sportsbooks listed below.
