Round 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft is set to be underway on Friday night in Pittsburgh. The trade market is already heating up before the picks even start flying.

NFL Draft Round 2: More Trades Expected Today

NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Friday that the San Francisco 49ers are fielding calls on the No. 33 pick. The Dolphins, Saints, Browns, and Jaguars have all made calls. But Pelissero noted it's not just about pick No. 33 but about other spots at the top of Round 2 as well.

Jacksonville is a team to watch, specifically. The Jaguars dealt away their first-round pick in the Travis Hunter trade a year ago and could be motivated to make a big move up, Pelissero said.

A handful of high-profile names who went unexpectedly undrafted on Thursday night will be front and center as Day 2 begins. Kayden McDonald, the Ohio State defensive tackle, is viewed around the league as a player likely to come off the board within the first five to 10 picks of Round 2, per Pelissero.

Colton Hood, the Tennessee cornerback, is a potential target as high as No. 33. Pelissero called him perhaps the "most surprising player" to slip out of Round 1. Many draft experts penciled Hood in as an immediate impact player. Hood's Tennessee teammate Jermod McCoy is also expected to hear his name called Friday, per Pelissero.

"Denzel Boston, Washington wide receiver, is another move-up target," Pelissero added. He noted Carson Beck is the quarterback most teams have circled as the next signal-caller off the board. Pelissero also noted the Pittsburgh Steelers could make a move up on Friday, potentially targeting a wide receiver.

Round 2 of the NFL draft is set to resume at 7 p.m. ET on Friday.
