NFL Conference Championship Weekend is here, with two big games on Sunday, and the stakes are as high as they get. Four teams remain, and the winners punch their ticket to Super Bowl LX. This is it. After a long playoff journey with wild comebacks, clutch plays, and hard-fought wins, the margin for error is razor-thin.

One loss ends the season, and one win gets you a berth on the biggest stage in football. With Super Bowl dreams on the line, it’s now or never for every player, coach, and fan involved.

Let’s preview the two games for the Conference Championship slate on Sunday.

Patriots at Broncos

The AFC Championship Game kicks off Sunday afternoon with a compelling matchup between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos, and it’s far from a typical AFC title tilt. New England enters as a slight favorite despite traveling to Denver, a venue where Broncos football is notoriously challenging. The Patriots rode a 14-3 regular-season record and have continued that momentum into the postseason, thanks to a balanced offense and a disciplined defense under coach Mike Vrabel.

Denver, the No. 1 seed at home, has overcome adversity to reach this point but enters Sunday with significant questions. Starting quarterback Bo Nix suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the divisional round, thrusting backup Jarrett Stidham into the spotlight for possibly his first meaningful action in years. Meanwhile, the Broncos also will be without key running back J.K. Dobbins, further challenging their offensive identity. The Patriots, meanwhile, have injury concerns of their own with linebacker Harold Landry III out and several other contributors questionable, which could impact New England’s pass rush and secondary depth. This sets up a fascinating chess match between a bold Patriots squad and a resilient but banged-up Broncos unit.

Rams at Seahawks

The NFC Championship Game closes out Championship Sunday with the Los Angeles Rams visiting the Seattle Seahawks in a classic NFC West showdown. These two divisional rivals are no strangers to tight contests, given their history is packed with close games and dramatic finishes, and Sunday’s battle promises more of the same. The Seahawks have used a stout defense and efficient offensive production to their advantage, while Seattle’s home-field crowd at Lumen Field looms as one of the toughest environments for opponents late in the season.

Los Angeles, coming off a gritty divisional win, enters as a slight underdog but with plenty of firepower to keep this one close. Quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offensive weapons will look to carve through a Seattle defense that has been stingy at limiting points, which is a factor that has made this season’s Seahawks one of the NFC’s toughest postseason draws. With both teams having split their regular-season meetings and each boasting strengths on both sides of the ball, this game may come down to a few key possessions. Seattle’s slight edge in the spread reflects its home advantage, but nothing in this rivalry ever comes easy.
