What Are NFL ATTD Odds?

Before picking the skill position players to wager on, we must first share what ATTD betting odds refer to. Commonly coined “ATD odds” or “ATTD odds,” this prop bet has become one of the most popular in NFL betting markets.

Given that the majority of names are priced at plus money, culminating in an exciting outcome, that notion shouldn’t come as a shock. Furthermore, bettors will cash in on their ATD wagers if the player scores a rushing, receiving, defensive, or special teams touchdown. Passing touchdowns do not count for this prop at NFL betting sites. If you choose a quarterback to score, he must do so on the ground or via the receiving end.

Without further ado, let’s focus on a pair of anytime touchdown odds for bettors to potentially land on with a week’s worth of pizza money.

Derrick RB Henry ()

As we noted, most players’ ATTD odds aren’t equivalent to a 56.5% implied probability. But Henry is typically the exception to the rule, especially in a matchup against an exploitable run defense. The Bengals have yielded a top-10 standing in EPA per carry and rushing success rate to the opposition.

Henry’s odds may seem a tad overvalued in a game that features the third-lowest total on the board. However, the betting market isn’t always correct in that regard. Plus, that has plenty to do with ineffective quarterback play on each side. Joe Burrow, who’s dealing with a calf injury, and Ryan Tannehill have manufactured a bottom-10 completion percentage over expected (CPOE).

Henry’s workload barely shrunk when Tennessee was involved in a positive game script. Keep in mind that third-round rookie Tyjae Spears hasn’t made a significant dent on the ground. Even with Titans left guard Peter Skoronski ruled out (appendix surgery), expect Henry to deliver in this plus-matchup. I don’t anticipate his toe injury to limit him much — if at all.

Bengals WR Tyler Boyd ()

Burrow’s inability to generate explosive passing plays is one of the league’s biggest stories. He’s tallied the third-fewest air yards, sitting in front of only Sam Howell, Dak Prescott, and Anthony Richardson. Nevertheless, Cincinnati’s intermediate passing game should literally play right into Boyd’s hands.

With Boyd primarily filling the Bengals’ slot receiver role, his target share has risen to a fine 17.2% this season. Not only have the Titans allowed the eighth-most EPA per dropback, but they’ve also struggled to defend this area of the field. Considering Boyd’s price point, he’s a solid option to find the end zone among the Bengals’ wideouts.
