Rams at Bengals Anytime Touchdown Scorer Strategy

Most sportsbooks don’t expect a lot of scoring in this game, with the total set fairly low at . Bettors looking to attack the ATTD market should use caution and avoid over-exposing themselves to too many wagers here.

Cincinnati’s lack of offensive efficiency probably has more to do with these projections than anything. Through two games, the Bengals have the third-fewest yards in the league and just two offensive touchdowns. Quarterback Joe Burrow hasn’t been himself due to an injured calf that could keep him out of Monday night’s affair. He’s still listed as questionable to play.

Los Angeles, meanwhile, has the third-most yards in the league, surprising many with its offensive success to start the season. Stafford has led his team into the red zone seven times in eight quarters of play, punching in five TDs. Those looking for action on a player to score should probably focus their attention on Rams players first.

Rams vs. Bengals ATTD Scorer Bets

Rams RB Kyren Williams ()

Williams’ impressive play in Week 1 effectively ended Cam Akers’ career in L.A. With Akers now in Minnesota, Williams is the Rams’ unquestioned starter and lead workhorse moving forward. He basically played every offensive snap in Week 2, gobbling up a 98.7% snap share compared to 75% the Sunday prior.

He was also the league leader in total touchdowns heading into Week 3, with four trips into the end zone (three rushing and one receiving). His participation in the passing game is just another reason to feel good about Williams racking up another scoring week. As the lead back vs. the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, he caught six balls on 10 targets for 50 yards and a score.

Cincinnati’s defense has already allowed 384 yards rushing and two rushing scores to its opponents, the Browns and the Ravens. Both teams combined for seven trips to the red zone resulting in five total touchdowns, one each to the teams’ starting RBs.

Let’s make it three straight games with the opposing RB1 hitting pay dirt against the Bengals.

Rams TE Tyler Higbee ()

Higbee hasn’t posted impressive stats this season, but he has been one of the offense’s most active participants. Heading into Week 3, he led all TEs in total snaps and was third in snap percentage at 92%. His 10 targets and six receptions were tied for seventh-most and ninth-most respectively.

He’s averaging more than 10 yards per catch, however, Stafford has only targeted him once inside the red zone. As a result, the eighth-year TE hasn’t scored yet, but Cincinnati should provide a ripe opportunity to change that. In each of its first two games, Cincinnati allowed a meager three-yard score to the other team’s TE. Dating back to last season, the Bengals have allowed the sixth-most receptions and seventh-most yards to the position.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon ()

Tread lightly here, but if you’re looking for one more TD scoring prop, there’s still some value on Bengals starting RB Joe Mixon. At nearly even odds for it to cash, this is especially true if QB Joe Burrow plays. Mixon’s ability to score is dependent on Cincinnati’s ability to move the ball in between the 20s and into the red zone. If Burrow is unavailable, that responsibility will fall to inexperienced backup, Jake Browning.

Still, if Cincy can muster a few red zone chances, Mixon is the uncontested number one option around the goal line. While backup RB Trayveon Williams has vultured 21% of the snap share, Mixon enjoys almost all of the team’s RB touches in the red zone with seven to Williams’ one.
