Titans TNF ATTD Scorer Bets
WR DeAndre Hopkins ()
Three touchdowns on four receptions is ridiculous and unrepeatable efficiency from Hopkins. But it’s clear that, under his new starting QB, Hopkins is the go-to target for Tennessee. Hopkins presents a savvy veteran capable of getting open on any down, particularly in critical late-down situations. Levis found success targeting D-Hop and will almost certainly try so again against Pittsburgh. Ball-hawk safety Minkah Fitzpatrick suffered an injury last week, potentially opening up the deep middle of the field – a spot where Hopkins found not one but two touchdowns against Atlanta.
RB Tyjae Spears ()
The rookie out of Tulane has a pretty consistent role in the Titans’ offense. In Weeks 1-6, Spears played between 22-25 offensive snaps per game. His usual rushing attempts sat squarely around 10, with another three to four targets per game. But in Week 8, Spears saw his snap count go down – potentially to better showcase Derrick Henry around the trade deadline to entice some late suitors. The phones never rang, and Henry will remain a Titan.
But that also means Spears could return to his prior workload. Henry has been inefficient around the goal line this year, scoring just once on seven carries inside the 10-yard line. With a team that just found new youth in their QB, look for them to explore youth in the backfield, preparing for a future without Henry.
