Tony Pollard might still get one – running backs are never a bad shout to get one, but the price you have to lay into him getting one makes him unbettable. The Cowboys are expected to score three touchdowns, by market prices, so there should be offense. WR CeeDee Lamb ()

Lamb needs to step up – other than a big game against the Jets, he’s been mostly quiet so far this season. It’s been a struggle for the Dallas #1, but against that weak Chargers secondary, he’s gotta get his opportunities. Whether it’s via deep ball, turning a slant into something more, or an end zone shot, Lamb is the highest-volume Cowboys weapon.

The Chargers didn’t let Davonte Adams in the end zone the last time they played, but he did go for eight catches and 75 yards with a backup QB. With Dak a considerably better QB, look for Lamb to take advantage of weak coverage and get a touchdown for only the second time this season.

TE Jake Ferguson ()

Ferguson hasn’t yet proven himself to be the reliable red-zone target you’d want for a bet like this, but we know that Dak likes throwing to tight ends in the red zone. He threw 13 TD passes to Dalton Schultz in the last two seasons, and nothing in Ferguson’s game suggests he can’t inherit that role.

Dak Prescott ()

If the Chargers can force Dak to move, they might get home more and force him to run. We know Dak can do it, but a combination of a good offensive line and past injuries has him a bit gunshy. If he needs to call his own number, especially in the red zone, it’s possible.

He hasn’t done it much – only one each in the last two years – but he’s in a Mike McCarthy offense now. Aaron Rodgers used to run these in the red zone routinely, and there’s no reason to think Dak can’t benefit from the sorts of spread offense rushing looks that saw Rodgers scamper into the end zone. Against the Chargers, Dak might need it if the Cowboys are to avoid losing 3 in 4 weeks.
