What Are NFL Anytime TD Odds?

Before deciding the skill position players should bet on, here’s what ATTD betting odds mean. Typically referred to as “ATD odds” or “ATTD odds,” this prop has evolved into one of the most popular among NFL betting markets.

Considering that most players are set at plus money, involving a thrilling outcome for any NFL viewer, it shouldn’t be a surprise. Additionally, you’ll win the bet if the specific player scores a rushing, receiving, defensive, or special teams touchdown. However, passing scores don’t count for this prop at NFL betting sites. If you select a quarterback to score, he must do so on the ground or via the receiving end.

Now, let’s break down three potential anytime touchdown odds for bettors to keep in mind.

Bengals at Cardinals ATTD Scorer Bets

James Conner

Conner has been surprisingly effective this season despite the Cardinals’ expected struggles. He scored twice in his last three games, including one against a Dallas defense playing the league’s eight-best rush defense by EPA. Conner has been hyper-efficient on the ground this year, ranking third in rushing yards despite being 11th in attempts. The Cardinals starter is still being treated like a bellow regarding opportunities. Conner is averaging 17.5 touches per game through the first four weeks. Getting the ball down inside scoring position will not be the issue here. This season, he has handled 100% of the team’s running back carries inside the ten and five-yard line.

If you’re feeling bold, Conner has scored the first touchdown in two of his last three games. The odds on him to do that again this week are .

Joe Mixon

According to Pro Football Reference, Mixon is the only RB in football to handle 100% of the team’s RB carries inside the 20-yard line this year. The positive TD regression should soon hit because although not the only player, Mixon also has 100% of the team’s RB carries inside the ten and 5-yard line.

Mixon is slated to run against the 29th-ranked rushing defense by EPA of the Arizona Cardinals. The Bengals offense looks entirely out of sorts to start the 2023 season. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Mixon has looked bad this season. Perhaps the Bengals’ lone bright spot has been their rushing offense. Cincinnati enters this matchup with the 13th-best rushing offense by EPA. Maybe with Joe Burrow hurt, Cincinnati can lean on Mixon even more, especially inside the scoring position.

Joshua Dobbs

This is the longest shot of the group, as passing scores don’t count for this prop. If you select a quarterback to score, he must do so on the ground or via the receiving end. Although playing quarterback, Dobbs has been fantastic in the rushing department through four games. Through Week 4, Dobbs has accumulated the fourth-most rushing yards among QBs while also rushing for a TD already.

When betting on anything to incur, we need opportunity data to make a case for that player. Dobbs has shown an evident willingness to run the football this year, and Cincinnati has shown that they are willing to allow rushing production to opposing QBs. In four games, the Bengals have allowed the fourth-most rushing attempts and the fifth-most rushing yards to QBs. While they have only allowed one rushing TD to an opposing QB, I like Dobbs’s chances of getting one here.

It is also worth noting QB Leaders in designed rush attempts this year:

  • Jalen Hurts 29
  • Lamar Jackson 25
  • Joshua Dobbs 17
