NCAAF Parlay Picks Today: Best Bets for Week 2: Knights, Rebels Offer Strong Value

There’s plenty of great games on the schedule for Week 2. But finding your best NCAA parlay picks often means looking underneath the hyped games and finding the second tier of action.
These games aren’t going to get the attention that Texas and Ohio State or Oklahoma vs. Michigan might. But they are going to offer plenty of value, making them a great option for a parlay.
There’s now a week of game film on these teams, which cuts both ways. On one hand, nobody’s just guessing anymore; they’re reacting to what has been shown on the field. On the other, overreactions to one week are common in the sports world. Not every team is as good as it showed, and not every team is as poor as it showed.
In these cases, an overreaction to one team’s performance might just be the thing that makes them a great choice to add to your NCAA parlay for Week 2.
NCAAF Parlay Picks Today (+609, BetMGM)
- Army -3.5
- UNLV -3
- Memphis-Boise State Over 55.5
When facing Army, a team cannot count on the Black Knights beating themselves. Army is far too disciplined with its option offense to make those kinds of mistakes. A team has to overpower Army with sheer talent, and that is not South Florida.
The Bulls got lucky in Week 1 by finishing plus-3 in turnovers. There’s an argument that they made their own luck, but Army takes much better care of the football. Those miscues aren’t going to be there to bail out the Bulls if they can’t stop the option.
USF just barely topped 200 yards of offense last week. That will not get the job done against the Black Knights’ consistency. Expect Army to win by at least one score.
Mean Green Aren’t Last Year’s Team
North Texas had a strong season last year under Eric Morris. Morris turned that into the Oklahoma State job and took most of his team from Denton to Stillwater. What’s left behind is still figuring things out.
But because they opened against Indiana, the public doesn’t really know how far North Texas has fallen. Indiana picked apart the Mean Green in a rout, but the Hoosiers do that to everyone these days. UNLV isn’t Indiana, but it is a talented squad that has looked good in two games.
The Runnin’ Rebels gave Memphis a battle in a six-point loss and beat Hawai’i by double digits in their second game. They’re looking like a quality team, and they should be favored by more than the 3 that BetMGM has them by over North Texas’ new squad.
Broncos, Tigers Pile Up the Points
Boise State scoring 27 points on Oregon was a statement. The Broncos made the most of their opportunities against the Ducks, keeping themselves in the game from start to finish. They also allowed 34 points in the loss, and they couldn’t get the Ducks off the field.
While there’s no shame in that, it does lead to expectations of a high-scoring game in Week 2 with Memphis.
As big as Boise State’s opener was, this one is almost as critical. With an 0-2 start, there’s no path for Boise to make the playoff as the best Group of 5 team. The Broncos haven’t yet shown that they can stop a good offense, though, and Memphis has looked sharp on that side of the ball. Neither side looks likely to have problems this week, making the over a great add to an NCAA parlay.
