We’ve got two games on the slate on the NBA hardwood for Wednesday as the postseason’s second round continues. It’s a pivotal Game 7 of an Eastern Conference semifinal series on the shores of Lake Erie. Meanwhile, three teams, the Knicks from the East along with the Spurs and Thunder in the West, already advanced to their respective conference finals.

Daniss Jenkins, Pistons Over 11.5 Points (-108, DraftKings)

Jenkins is stepping up and contributing off the bench for the Pistons in this series. He stepped up big in Game 6 of the series, finishing with 15 points. That marked his fourth game with double-digit points in the series. Jenkins is a valuable piece off the Detroit bench and his production is critical to the Pistons’ success. Given the inconsistency we’ve seen from some of the Detroit role players, lean on one of them who’s at least consistent. Jenkins comes up with a solid showing to keep the Pistons in it.

Jarrett Allen, Cavaliers Over 11.5 Points (-121, DraftKings)

Allen, for his issues on the glass in this series, put some points on the board in this series. He scored at least 13 points in six of the last eight postseason games. That includes four of the six games in this series. Allen averages 13.3 points per game in this series and beat his number in four of his last five contests. In a Game 7 situation, you have to go with high percentage offense. Allen shoots 65.6% from the floor, which is the highest mark on the team by a wide margin. He contributes more than a dozen points in this contest to wind up over the number.

Paul Reed, Pistons Over 7.5 Points (-105, Fanatics)

When you talk about a dark horse contributor, one may find Reed’s picture in the dictionary next to the phrase. After logging just 21 minutes in the first round against Orlando, he sat out the first two games of this series. Since that point, Reed logged double-digit minutes in each of the last four games. Perhaps more importantly, he contributed double-digit points in each of those contests. Reed looks like the current Pistons’ version of Vinnie “The Microwave’ Johnson. He’s put up 53 points in 57 minutes in the series. Expect a similar stat line to what we’ve seen in the last four games. That means he goes over the number again here.

This is a topsy-turvy series as the home team prevailed in the first four contests. Meanwhile, the road team took the last two games. Both teams are playing their second Game 7 of the postseason. The big winner here is a team that isn’t on the floor and that’s the Knicks. As far as the teams on the floor, it’s tough to get a read on either team. Cleveland has the more battle tested squad but guys like Harden and Mitchell come small in the big moments. Detroit is a solid defensive team and Cunningham stepped up in the first round against Orlando. Give the edge to the Pistons here.

Cavaliers vs. Pistons Under 206.5 (FanDuel, -110)

This one is a bit tricky as the total is tied to the result. In the first two games and Game 6, all Detroit victories, the games fell under the number. Meanwhile, in Games 3, 4 and 5,each Cleveland triumphs, the games ended over the number. Now, Game 4 ended with just 215 points, barely edging past the number set for this one. The Pistons lead the postseason in scoring defense and held Cleveland to 101 and 97 points in Detroit to start the series. In addition, Detroit isn’t a high-scoring offense unit. Given how we saw things unfold in Games 1 and 2, take the under in this contest.
