NBA player props: Thursday, Dec. 2 NBA TV Games
Bulls G DeMar DeRozan
When the Bulls need production in close games, they turn to DeMar DeRozan, who is an underrated MVP candidate early in the season. DeRozan has scored 26-plus points in six straight games against teams with winning records and dropped 31 points with a 31.5% usage rate in his last outing against the Knicks.
He’s averaging 26.9 PPG on 49% FG shooting on the road and is a solid bet to top 24.5 points (+100 at DraftKings) with the Bulls favored by 2 points at MSG tonight.
Blazers G C.J. McCollum
When Damian Lillard has been out over the past two-plus seasons, C.J. McCollum sees a massive spike in production. His average PPG rises from 21 to 29 and his APG rise from 3.8 to 7.1 over a 15-game sample size. McCollum is averaging 22.8 PPG on 46% FG shooting at home this season versus 18.5 PPG on 38% FG shooting on the road.
He’s dropping 24.7 PPG with 4.2 APG over his last nine meetings against the Spurs and should see a ton of usage tonight to help him get over 31.5 combined points and assists (-104 at FanDuel).
