Slabz Reviews & Ratings 2026

Written By Justin Bales , Sports Betting Writer

We’ve tried to keep our latest Slabz review level and free from hyperbole, but truth be told, this is a seriously awesome card rip platform. Even without a Slabz welcome bonus, we think you’ll like what you find here.

Slabz lets members pull cards from nine franchises, including Pokemon, One Piece, and Riftbound. There are sports packs to choose from, too, including high-value soccer and basketball grails. You can choose to keep, ship, or sell any cards you pull, with Slabz offering a generous 85% buyback rate on your unwanted rips. Have we piqued your interest?

What is Slabz?

Slabz is one of the USA’s most exciting new card rip sites. It lets members rip open real packs of collectible trading cards before choosing whether to keep (in a secure digital vault), ship, or sell back at 85% of the full market value (FMV).

On paper, signing up for Slabz sounds pretty awesome if you’re a budding collector. But how exactly does the platform work? And what other details should you know about it?

How does Slabz work?

The premise of Slabz is simple: members can open packs of trading cards, receiving one real, graded slab per rip. You can then store your card in a digital vault, have it shipped to your address, or sell it back to Slabz at an 85% buyback rate.

Before you rip a pack, you can review the following details:

Once you’ve selected a pack, you can rip it instantly. There are two ways to do this: either by making an instant purchase using Google Pay or Apple Pay, or by adding funds to your wallet.

When you’ve opened a pack, you’ll receive one graded slab. Don’t like it? Sell it back at 85% of its FMV within 72 hours.

If you’d prefer to keep it, you can add it to your digital vault. Or if you’d like to add it to your collection, Slabz offers shipping, though the timings and costs for this can vary – something noted in our PICKEM Ripping Packs review, too.

What type of trading cards can you pull at Slabz?

One of Slabz’s core strengths lies in the variety of its trading card packs. While other card rip platforms specialize in one or two franchises (Pokémon, for example), Slabz offers a whole bunch of cards from different universes.

Choose packs from nine different universes – and counting

That’s right – Slabz offers cards from nine unique franchises, so it should appeal to all types of collectors. All but one universe has two or more packs available to rip, so you can choose one that meets your preferences and budget.

UniverseAvailable packsHighest-value grail
Pokémon7 packs2007 Pokémon Gold Star Jolteon – $90,000
Riftbound2 packs2026 Riftbound SFD Ahri – $9,800
One Piece3 packs2025 One Piece Monkey D. Luffy – $4,000
Dragon Ball2 packs2026 Dragon Ball Cross Force – $7,000
Soccer3 packs2022 Topps Dynasty Lionel Messi – $15,000
Football2 packs2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady – $11,000
Baseball2 packs2018 Topps Chrome Shohei Ohtani – $11,000
Basketball2 packs1997 Finest Refractors Kobe Bryant – $10,500
Sports1 pack2025 Prizm FIFA Kylian Mbappe – $8,600

The nice thing is, we suspect we haven’t seen the last of Slabz’s universes. The brand could add more franchises in the future, so watch this space.

Simple mechanics and clear card grading tiers

Glowing Slabz ratings reflect the fact that the platform has its card rip mechanics down to a fine art. Browsing the various packs and their Top Grailz is a joy, while the visual representation of ripping a pack amps up the anticipation.

In our experience, it’s worth checking the Odds & EV tab before ripping a pack. Here, you can review the odds of pulling a card from the four in-platform grading tiers.

Slabz uses Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary to assign value to the cards in its packs. These work as follows…

TierCard value rangeTypical odds
Common$50-$10075%
Rare$100-$20020%
Epic$200-$5004%
Legendary$500-$10,000+1%

This chart puts the reality of using Slabz into perspective. On the vast majority of rips, you’ll pull a Common card, and so you may wish to sell these back. Of course, that’s part of the excitement, and since Slabz uses Provably Fair technology, you can trust that you’re always getting a fair result.

Is Slabz legit?

Before you sign up at Slabz, you’ll want to know if it's legit. We’ve spent time testing the platform, so can confirm that it’s a reputable entity. Here are some of the key details to note…

What’s the bonus at Slabz?

If you came here in search of an eye-catching Slabz bonus, you might be a little disappointed. Promos are comparatively thin on the ground at this card rip site, so if you prioritize bonuses ahead of other features, you might be better served elsewhere.

While there’s no welcome bonus at Slabz, there are a few reward systems in place to incentivize loyalty. These include…

Referral rewards

Slabz offers a friend referral program, in which you can share your unique referral code with friends and score 1 Ticket free when they register and spend $50. There’s no limit to the number of people you can invite, and you can keep tabs on your referrals on your account page.

Loyalty rewards program

Slabz offers a five-tier VIP rewards program, with levels including Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Every card you rip counts towards your rank, with your loyalty level based on the cumulative value of your card pulls.

As you rise through the ranks, you’ll unlock progressively better benefits. That includes Daily Rewards that get bigger in line with your VIP status, including free Tickets and free Packs.

What’s Slabz like to use?

We’ve tested lots of card rip sites recently, and Slabz is easily one of the best in terms of usability and design. The platform looks seriously good, and there are even sound effects to underscore your experience. Nice.

It’s a shame there’s no Slabz app right now, but don’t let that put you off using the platform on mobile. You can rip packs, review grails, and manage your digital collection on small-screen devices, with Slabz working perfectly in mobile browsers like Chrome and Safari. We actually prefer the mobile site to the desktop, and that’s saying something.

Buying and selling packs at Slabz: Here’s what you need to know

We like that Slabz offers both an instant buy and fund deposit option for buying packs. Having the ability to make a one-time purchase is bound to appeal to some users, who may be reluctant to deposit funds without testing the site first.

You can use a mix of fiat and crypto payment options to fund your account (though cryptocurrencies cannot be used to make instant rips). When you select a pack, you can choose to buy it instantly using Google Pay or Apple Pay, or switch to your wallet provided it has funds available.

When it comes to selling packs back to Slabz, this is a clean and streamlined process; you can even toggle on “Turbo” mode to automatically sell “Common” cards back to the brand. It’s easy to track the status of your card sales and cumulative balance on your account screen.

Withdrawals at Slabz are handled via bank transfer or crypto wallet. That’s a little restrictive in our view, and it would be great if Slabz opened it up to e-wallets like PayPal, too.

If you want to ship a card to your address, you can facilitate this on your account screen. Note that shipping costs are 100% variable based on your location, so it’s worth checking this early on to see how much shipping is likely to cost you.

What’s the customer support like at Slabz?

Customer service is probably one of the biggest issues we have with Slabz, especially when compared to our Lastpack review. Beyond links to the brand’s socials, it’s genuinely not clear where or how to reach out to the site; there’s no live chat, no FAQs, and no obvious contact us section.

After a little more digging, we did eventually find a support email address for the site – info@slabz.com – and this actually proved quite a reliable channel. Note that you can also reach out to the brand on X if you have a non-account-specific query.

Can you count on Slabz for an awesome card ripping experience?

Sure you can! While we did highlight a couple of niggles over the course of our Slabz review (mainly the lack of customer support), on the whole, we’ve massively enjoyed using this meticulously designed card rip site.

Slabz’s core strength is the variety of its franchise options, as well as the depth of its card pack options. The mechanics are seamless and easy to grasp, requiring zero guesswork even from complete beginners.

Sure, we’d love to see a welcome bonus added to the mix, but that’s no dealbreaker. So if you feel like giving Slabz a try, get started using the links on this page.
