Packed Reviews & Ratings 2026

Written By Chris Altruda , Revenue Reporter

Even though we did not receive a welcome bonus, we still enjoyed the experience on Packed. After signing up, you can rip graded collectible cards. Our Packed review will unpack everything about the mystery box site.

Interestingly, you can only open packs with the iOS app. The desktop and mobile websites do not allow pack openings. There is also no Android app. Hopefully, this changes soon. Join us to learn more about the experience on Packed. We will walk you through what to do with your Pokémon, One Piece, Baseball and Basketball authenticated cards.

Packed: Pros & Cons
  • Easy to use iOS app
  • Transparent pack openings
  • Encrypted banking platform
  • No desktop or mobile website
  • No marketplace for peer-to-peer trades

There is no welcome bonus for new users

Packed does not have a welcome offer for newcomers. After we completed the Packed sign up process we expected a reward. So, it was disappointing not to find any.

We spoke to a support agent who mentioned that, from time to time, there are Packed bonus offers for new users. For example, previously there was a 20% deposit bonus of up to $40.

Despite the lack of sign up perks, the bright spot is that there are a few existing user promos. We did not find any VIP rewards for users, but there is a referral bonus and social media giveaways.

The referral program is the main offer. You can get up to 4.5% commission when you bring your buddies to the site. Plus, your friends can open Basic and Bronze packs once they spend $25 and $200, respectively on the site.

Through our time using the platform, we also found some social media promos for followers. These were free pack openings for Basic and Bronze packs. We recommend following the official X and Instagram channels to participate in these giveaways.

Rip Pokémon, One Piece, Basketball and Baseball graded cards

Packed is a mystery box platform. You can rip Pokémon, One Piece, Basketball, and Baseball cards. We were pleased that all collectible cards are graded and authenticated. You will find cards from legitimate grading companies, such as the Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA).

Currently, there are 18 packs to rip. Pokémon has the most packs (6), while One Piece, Basketball, and Baseball each have 4 packs.

Each of these packs has different card rarities. We observed that you can pull Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Mythic cards. Each digital rip is authenticated, and you can see the probability of the different cards you could pull.

Overall, we enjoyed opening packs, watching the reveals and trying to pull PSA 10 Gem Mint cards like the Poncho-Wear Pikachu #208.

Check out the table below for an overview of the pack pricing:

PacksNumber of packsPack pricing
Pokémon6$1 - $1,000
One Piece4$25 - $250
Basketball4$25 - $250
Baseball4$25 - $250

What can you do with your pulls?

After you have purchased a pack and the reveal is done, there are three options. You can vault and keep the card, sell it back or ship it to your home. Below are more insights into each option:

Keep and vault

Compared to other card rip sites, you cannot send your cards to be vaulted on Packed. Instead, you can only keep ripped cards from the pack openings in the vault. If you like what you pulled but do not want to ship immediately, vaulting is a good choice.

FYI, you need to keep track of your online portfolio. Per the terms, you can only keep ten cards in your vault. If you add any more, you have to remove some collectible items from the vault.

We were not a big fan of this condition. Several other online card breaking sites allow you to vault more cards, Ten is on the low side, and does not leave much room on Packed.

Sell back to the site

The instant buyback feature is among the best we found. Not many sites offer 100% buyback, so Packed has done well here. Before you open any pack, you will see a minimum and maximum Fair Market Value (FMV). The platform uses a semi-automated proprietary system to calculate the FMV.

Once you have ripped a card, the brand will offer you an FMV for that specific card. During the first 24 hours, the instant buyback is 100%.

Let’s say you purchase a Pokémon Grail pack for $1,000. Then you pull a Luigi Pikachu #296 XY-P 2016 PSA 10. The FMV of that card is listed at $18,035. With the 100% buyback offer, you can sell the card back for the full FMV of $18,035.

Just a bit of advice: the 100% buyback is generally only valid for the first 24 hours. Thereafter, the buyback percentage may drop, so you have to act quickly.

Ship to your home

If you want to add a pull to your collection at home, then ship the card to your physical address. Shipping is handled by a third party used by Packed. You must complete all verification checks before requesting shipment.

We observed that shipping fees vary, but do include insurance and a service fee. We did not ship to our homes, so we cannot share an exact shipment time. However, we noted that shipping times will vary by location.

You can only use the iOS app

At the time of writing, you can only use the iOS app to open packs. Before we downloaded the app, we browsed the user reviews on the Apple App Store. It has a 4.5 rating and over 2,000 reviews, which is a solid score.

The good news is that, like many, we had no issues using the app. The navigation was straightforward. Everything is optimized for the smaller screen. The menu banners are at the bottom of the screen, with your balance and the filters at the top. The revealed animations do not lag, and nothing is cut from the screen.

We suggest you ensure you have a strong internet connection. Otherwise, the experience is not the best. We noticed that when we were on the move, pages took a long time to load because our internet connection kept dropping. Also, make sure you have sufficient storage space on your iPhone. You need 121.6 MB to download the app.

No option to rip cards with your PC or Android device

The biggest limitation with Packed is the availability. You cannot rip cards on your PC or Android phone. The desktop and mobile websites are more of an informational hub. You can read the terms and conditions and see how things work. For actual pack openings and claiming bonuses, you need the iOS app.

We hope that this changes soon. Not many users may have iPhones, so for now, using Packed is rather restrictive.

Is Packed a legitimate card rip site?

Yes, Packed is a trustworthy card rip site. You must be 18+ to join from the US. When downloading the app, you can also set a secure password, so no one else can access your account. KYC checks are completed for every registered user, and without approval, no one can withdraw from the site.

We also found that the iOS app has good reviews, and the banking platform is encrypted. Before you can open a pack, the probabilities of possible pulls are displayed. Everything is also transparent with the reveals.

No fees when making deposits or withdrawals

There are no fees when using the banking platform on Packed. You can fund your account using secure payment methods. These include debit cards and bank transfers. Once your payment is processed, the funds should be reflected in your account instantly.

We learned that you cannot withdraw without completing the KYC checks. So, submit your proof of ID and address in advance. Currently, the minimum withdrawal is $10. The accepted withdrawal options include debit card, PayPal, bank transfer and Venmo. Instant withdrawals are processed within the hour, while bank transfers take up to 48 hours.

We had no issues when withdrawing, and there were no catches. However, you have to complete the KYC checks. So, try to have electronic copies of your documents on hand to save time.

Our Packed ratings of the customer service

We gave the platform top marks in our customer service ratings. There is instant support, so your queries should be dealt with quickly.

FYI, live chat is only for registered users who have logged in to the app. At first, you will communicate with a chatbot. You can ask to be transferred to an agent. In our experience, the human agents respond within three minutes and are knowledgeable.

You can also send a message on social media and email the support team. We noticed that response times are much longer for these options. We had to wait six hours for an email response. On social media, the agents are a little slower, sometimes taking a day to respond.

Despite the long waiting times, the agents are friendly and provide accurate feedback. So, good job to the team!

Conclusion - Packed is a solid choice but more availability is needed

From our findings, Packed is a trustworthy brand with lots of standout features. The Pokémon, One Piece, Baseball and Basketball packs all have graded and authenticated cards. You can also rip cards on the go with the iOS app.

The only gripe we have is the availability. Not everyone can use the site as there are no Android apps nor desktop websites. If a desktop or mobile-optimized website or even a Progressive Web App become available, the brand should be more accessible.

If you enjoy your card rips and have an iPhone, why not try Packed? Use the banners to register and start opening some packs!
