SAINTS AT BUCCANEERS SGP STRATEGY
Now that you have opted into the SGP promotion over at DraftKings Sportsbook let’s turn our attention to a SGP strategy. Finding correlations and actionable stats in teams helps boost the rest of your parlay legs. We will look toward a correlation between Tom Brady and Chris Godwin for our first two legs.
Brady has thrown multiple touchdown passes in back-to-back games while eclipsing 255 passing yards in seven of his last nine outings. Mike Evans hasn’t scored a TD in seven consecutive games and has recently struggled to find any chemistry with Brady. It seems Evans will draw CB Marshon Lattimore, who has historically put the clamps on Evans. I’m betting on Chris Godwin to step up as a result. Godwin set season highs in snap share (96%), targets (13), catches (12), and yards (110) in Week 12, scoring a touchdown in his second straight game.
- Tom Brady Alternate Passing Yards: 255+
- Chris Godwin Anytime TD
For our final two legs of this MNF same game parlay, we will key in on the Saints side of the ball. New Orleans’ offense has hit a wall lately, scoring 13 points or less in three of its last four games. Those struggles could continue in Tampa Bay against a Buccaneers defense yielding the seventh-fewest points and ninth-fewest yards per game. Shut out last week in San Francisco; the Saints could only put together 260 total yards and turned the ball over twice. With the Buccaneers defense in position to wreck havoc against this poor New Orleans offense, look for Alvin Kamara to step up as a receiver in this matchup. Kamara has produced 25+ receiving yards in seven of his last eight games.
New Orleans’ lone viable wideout, Chris Olave, will continue to be the leading contributor on offense. Olave’s 13 targets against this same Buccaneers team in Week 2 were his second most of the season. Olave has minimal target competition playing alongside UDFA rookie Rashid Shaheed and Jarvis Landry. Shaheed remains a gadget player, mainly contributing to special teams. Landry looks washed playing through multiple injuries, while having only produced 37 yards or fewer in each of his last six games. Emerging TE Juwan Johnson injured his ankle in Week 12 and is expected to sit here.
- Alvin Kamara 25+ Alternate Receiving Yards
- Chris Olave 45+ Alternate Receiving Yards
These four legs correlate strongly and satisfy the requirements of total odds for the promo. Best of luck with your MNF same game parlay!
