Carlos Rodon over 6.5 strikeouts at +111 on DraftKings Sportsbook is my top MLB bet today as the New York Yankees visit the Detroit Tigers. I love getting a plus number here.

Rodon is really rounding into form lately. He's thrown at least 93 pitches in each of his last five starts and cleared seven-plus strikeouts in his last three, with some of those coming against pesky lineups. That long leash matters a ton for this prop. Additionally, the underlying stuff backs it up. Rodon sits in the 81st percentile in strikeout rate this season, with a whiff rate well above league average according to Baseball Savant.

The matchup cooperates as well. Detroit ranks in the bottom third of the league in strikeout rate against southpaws in June. With Rodon's stuff trending up after a late start to the year due to injury, I like the over at great odds.

MLB Player Props Today: Bryce Harper Over 1.5 Total Bases

Bryce Harper over 1.5 total bases at -106 makes my list of best MLB player props today as the Philadelphia Phillies head to Washington to face Zack Littell and the Nationals.

I'm not sure how Littell has a job at this point in his career. He ranks at the absolute bottom of the barrel in just about every advanced metric you can find, and the raw data is just as ugly. He's already surrendered 20 home runs this year, and it's not even July, with 16 of those bombs coming against left-handed hitters.

The power is oozing in this spot. Harper has come along nicely after a slow start to the year, homering in two of his last three games and collecting two hits Monday night. He's rounding into form right as the season hits its stride, and against a pitcher this hittable, two total bases feels very much in play.

Home Run Picks Today: Kyle Schwarber

Now, for some MLB home run picks today! I'm rolling with Kyle Schwarber to go deep at +185 on DraftKings. Those are some crazy odds for a guy this hot, but I think they're warranted.

Schwarber has been an absolute machine in 2026. The slugger mashed 29 home runs already this season — 19 of them against right-handed pitching. Additionally, his slugging percentage is through the roof against both sides of the plate. Meanwhile, the Nationals' bullpen has allowed the most home runs in baseball this season.

This is a fantastic matchup for Philadelphia's lefties, especially their best bats. I don't mind playing both Schwarber and Harper on both of these player props today — Harper to go yard is in play too. Brandon Marsh is also squarely in play against Littell.
