You've found the best MLB bets today for June 2nd! Tuesday's MLB slate features two pitching props and home run picks today in a sweet lefty-left matchup. Let's dive into my top player props for tonight's action!

Best MLB Bets Today: Player Props for June 2

Bubba Chandler over 4.5 strikeouts at -139 on DraftKings Sportsbook is my top MLB bet today as the Pittsburgh Pirates visit Minute Maid Park to take on the Houston Astros.

We hit a couple of Chandler unders earlier this season in April, but things change, and we have to adjust. Two starts ago, Chandler racked up 11 strikeouts against the Blue Jays, then followed that up with five against the Cubs. He's not an elite swing-and-miss arm yet, but his whiff rate and chase rate sit right around league average.

However, the matchup has flipped in a big way. Since May 1, Houston has struck out at the sixth-highest clip in baseball against right-handed pitching at right around 24%. This is not the Astros team from five or six years ago, who strung along lengthy at-bats and made life miserable for pitchers. Combined with the momentum Chandler has built over his last couple of starts, I like him to pick up at least five strikeouts on Tuesday.

Best Bet: Bubba Chandler Over 4.5 Strikeouts DraftKings, -139

MLB Player Props Today: Cam Schlittler Under 18.5 Outs

Cam Schlittler under 18.5 outs at -160 is another one of my favorite MLB player props today as the New York Yankees host the Cleveland Guardians in the Bronx.

Let me be clear, Schlittler has been outstanding in 2026. He's given up more than one earned run in a start just once since early April, and he profiles as one of the best young arms in the American League. But there are a couple of things working against him reaching the seventh inning on Tuesday.

Cleveland is as stingy as it gets when it comes to striking out. Since May 1, the Guardians own the best strikeout rate in baseball against right-handed pitching, and rookie Travis Bazzana at the top of the lineup has been a massive difference-maker.

Meanwhile, the Yankees had Monday off, meaning their bullpen is completely rested. Yankees' manager Aaron Boone has a buffet of options when any hint of trouble pops up. Schlittler will likely have a solid outing, but I think he throws six innings and gets lifted.

Best Bet: Cam Schlittler Under 18.5 Outs DraftKings, -160

Home Run Picks Today: Colson Montgomery

Now, for some MLB home run picks today! We're heading to Target Field, where the Chicago White Sox will battle against Connor Prielipp. He's had a stretch of solid starts in early May, but the underlying numbers tell a different story.

Prielipp has allowed a .182 ISO against left-handed hitters this season, but his expected ISO against them is a massive .315. This screams positive regression for opposing left-handed bats. His most popular pitch against lefties is his slider, and Montgomery has shown the ability to do damage against that offering.

Montgomery brings a monster .270 ISO against left-handed pitching this season. He has consistently flashed his power against left-handed pitchers dating back to last season in lefty-lefty matchups. The kid has serious pop, and this is my favorite home run bet of the day.

Best Bet: Colson Montgomery to Hit a Home Run DraftKings, +345
