Busch started the year slowly but he has been better as the season has worn on. He entered Wednesday hitting .244 with 18 doubles, two triples, 13 homers and 57 RBI on the year. In the month of July, he is hitting .281 with four doubles, three homers and 11 RBI. He has hits in eight of his last 10 games and cashed this prop in five of those contests. If there is a guy that Busch loves to rake against, it’s Andre Pallante. Busch torches Pallante to the tune of seven of nine (.778) in his career. In addition, among his seven hits, he has a double, two homers and five RBI. Look for him to cash in here on getaway day in the Gateway City.

Sean Burke, White Sox Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-130, Fanatics)

Burke is a major reason the White Sox are in the mix for a playoff spot just two seasons after losing 121 games. He enters this game 7-5 with a 3.19 ERA, a 1.115 WHIP, 35 walks and 130 strikeouts over 118.1 innings of work on the year. Burke gets a crack at a Yankees squad that is minus Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Cody Bellinger. New York is 26th in the majors in strikeout rate as they whiff an average of 9.09 times per nine innings. That number climbs to 9.60 on the road. In addition, Burke recorded 10 strikeouts in 20 at-bats by current Yankees hitters while allowing just five hitters. Look for him to go over the number in this contest.

Eury Perez, Marlins Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-105, Fanatics)

Perez is just 5-8 this season despite a 3.56 ERA, a 1.115 WHIP, 38 walks and 106 strikeouts over 98.1 innings of work on the year. Facing the Mets should be a boost for Perez given how poorly New York has performed this season. New York entered Wednesday 17th in the majors by striking out 8.40 times per contest. That number slides down to 8.15 whiffs per contest at Citi Field. Perez has at least six strikeouts in four of his last five starts entering this contest. Current Mets’ hitters are a putrid four of 33 (.121) against him entering this contest. In addition, Perez has a 33.3% strikeout rate (11 whiffs) in those at-bats. He had five strikeouts in 6.1 innings in a start against the Mets back on May 22. Look for him to cash in here.

Home Run Picks Today (07/30):

Manny Machado, Padres (+325, Hard Rock)

Machado isn’t hitting for average this season but there is pop still in his bat. He entered Wednesday night hitting just .216 in 389 at-bats. However, he has 18 doubles, 23 homers and 61 RBI to his credit. His average is slightly better at Petco Park (.230) with nine homers in 178 at-bats on the year. Meanwhile, he’s been solid in July, posting a .310 average with three doubles, seven homers and 18 RBI entering Wednesday. Machado squares off with the Giants’ Robbie Ray in Thursday’s series opener. He is six of 22 (.273) with six walks in his career against the lefthander. In addition, Machado has taken Ray deep three times. Swinging a hot bat, back Machado to do some damage.

Matt Olson, Braves (Hard Rock, +350)

Olson continues to rake with power for the Braves this season. He went into Wednesday night hitting .264 with 26 doubles, 27 homers and 63 RBI on the year. Olson went deep in the first game of the Braves’ doubleheader with the Mets Wednesday afternoon. He gets a crack against Washington’s Jake Irvin in the opener of a weekend set here. Irvin comes off the 60-day IL for this one and hasn’t pitched in the majors since May 23. He served up seven homers over 51.2 innings in 11 starts for the Nationals this season. That means he’ll likely be on a pitch count. Olson is just four of 19 in his career against Irvin but he has power as two of his four hits are home runs. Furthermore, Irvin is going to be a little off his game early. Olson capitalizes here and puts one in the seats.
