It’s a full 15-game slate on the diamond to as we kick off the first full week after the All-Star break Monday, starting at 6:40 pm ET when the Twins open a set between AL Central rivals as they face the Guardians in Cleveland. The schedule gives plenty of opportunities to find the best MLB bets today, including the top home run props. Best MLB Bets Today: Player Props for July 20
Luis Arraez, Giants Over 1.5 Total Bases (-132, DraftKings)
Arraez isn’t a power hitting type of guy but one thing he does well is make contact. Bloopers and bleeders can look like screaming rockets in the box score. Arraez entered Sunday hitting .327 with 21 doubles, seven triples, four homers and 35 RBI. In addition, he has more walks (25) than strikeouts (16) in 370 at-bats this season. While Arraez isn’t a power bat, he hits Michael Wacha well. In his career, Arraez is six of 16 (.375) with a pair of homers and five RBI against the Royals’ righthander. While we’re not advocating backing Arraez to go yard, a couple singles or a shot in the gap gets the job done.
Jacob Misiorowski, Brewers Over 9.5 Strikeouts (+120, Fanatics)
Where Misiorowski goes, strikeouts inevitably follow. Of course, when you can throw 105, it makes it rather difficult to get the bat on the ball. For the season, Misiorowski is 10-4 with a 1.62 ERA, a 0.757 WHIP, 27 walks and 167 strikeouts over 111 innings in 18 starts. The Mets are a middle of the road team in terms of punchouts as they entered Sunday 14th in the majors with 8.24 whiffs a game. They do strike out more as the visiting team (8.44 Ks per game) than at Citi Field. There’s not much history with Mets’ hitters against the flamethrowing righthander as current players have a combined seven at-bats against him. Misiorowski has at least seven strikeouts in all but one start this season. Meanwhile, he has eight double-digit whiff outings. Take him to rack them up in this contest.
George Kirby, Mariners Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-130, Fanatics)
Kirby fanned 137 hitters in 126 innings for the Mariners last season, so he has the ability to rack up whiffs. This season, his K numbers are down a bit as he has 98 punchouts in 110 innings of work. He has recorded seven punchouts in back-to-back starts entering this one and had a 10-whiff outing against the Pirates in June. The Reds are the majors’ second-worst team in terms of strikeouts as they fan 9.41 times per nine innings this season. In his career, Kirby has limited current Angels’ hitters to a .260 average in 50 at-bats. Meanwhile, he has a 36% whiff rate (18 Ks) in that sample size. Take the over here as a result.

James Wood, Nationals (+265, Fanatics)
Wood had a solid first half for the Nationals. He entered Sunday’s matchup with the Athletics with a .275 average, 23 doubles, 28 homers, 66 RBI and 15 steals. In addition, he has 80 walks to his credit. Sure, he strikes out a fair amount (136 Ks) but exactly half (52 of 104) of his hits are for extra bases. Temperatures at first pitch are expected to be in the high-90s with winds between 10 and 15 miles per hour toward left-center. Coors Field is extremely hitter friendly this season (as it is every year), which works in his favor. Wood should take full advantage of what the park has to offer. Look for him to deposit a ball in the seats during this contest, even with an uncertain pitching matchup.
Jac Caglianone, Royals (+469, DraftKings)
Kansas City has struggled this season, entering the opening game of their set with the Giants last in the AL Central with a 40-60 mark. After a dismal rookie campaign in 2025, Caglianone has been better this season. He hit his 16th homer of the season in a blowout loss to San Diego Sunday. Caglianone is hitting .263 with 16 home runs, 37 RBI and 17 doubles on the year. He has hit seven homers in 98 at-bats against National League opponents this season. We’re looking at temperatures in the 90s and winds blowing at 15-plus miles an hour toward left center. There have been 23 homers hit at Kauffman Stadium in eight games in the month of July. Look for him to do some damage in this contest.
