Best MLB Bets Today: Player Props for June 15
Pete Crow-Armstrong, Cubs Over 1.5 Total Bases (-160, FanDuel)
Crow-Armstrong is hot right now so taking advantage of this situation is the smart thing to do. He has 17 hits, including four homers, in his last 10 games. In addition, he’s racked up 34 total bases in his last 10 games entering this one. Crow-Armstrong has cashed in seven of his last 10 games. In addition, that includes each of his last five games after a two for four day at Oracle Park Sunday. He’s hitting .267 with 11 doubles, three triples, 12 homers and 16 steals. Crow-Armstrong tripled in three at-bats against Michael Lorenzen last week at Coors Field. With him hitting well right now, take the over.
Zack Wheeler, Phillies Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-120, DraftKings)
Wheeler missed the first month of the season but acted like it didn’t impede him at all. He is 5-1 with a 2.22 ERA, a 0.847 WHIP, 12 walks and 53 strikeouts over 56.2 innings in nine starts. Wheeler has three starts where he fanned eight hitters and a pair with six strikeouts this season. While that isn’t overly encouraging for him going over this number, take a closer look. Wheeler fanned eight Marlins in six innings in his second start of the year back on May 1. Among current Marlins hitters, they own a collective .224 batting average in 58 at-bats. Meanwhile, they have a 32.8% strikeout rate (19 whiffs) in that sample size. Take the over here.
Nick Kurtz, Athletics Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110, Fanatics)
Kurtz burst onto the scene as a rookie last year and picked up where he left off in 2026. He enters this one hitting .276 with 12 homers and 45 RBI on the year. Kurtz went deep Sunday in a road win over the Astros at Daikin Park. That gave him four homers and eight RBI in his last 10 games. Kurtz is hitting .284 with six doubles, six homers and 23 RBI in 95 at-bats at Sutter Health Park this season. In his career, Kurtz has a .288 average with 16 doubles, 28 homers and 75 RBI in 302 at-bats there. Meanwhile, he cashed this prop in five of his last seven games. Playing at home, look for him to do it again here.

Yordan Alvarez, Astros (FanDuel, +270)
Alvarez homered twice in the opening game of a set with the Royals on the road Friday night. He has three homers in his last eight games and 24 on the season. In addition, he is hitting .326 with 54 RBI entering this game. Alvarez hasn’t faced Troy Melton in his career but he is a dangerous hitter, especially at home. He’s hitting .363 with 11 homers at Daikin Park this year. Meanwhile, in his career, he hits .302 with 86 homers in 1,391 at-bats at Daikin Park. With the way Alvarez is hitting right now, he can turn on any mistake and drive it into the seats. Look for him to put one in the seats again here.
Kyle Schwarber, Phillies (+220, FanDuel)
Schwarber continues to be one of the most consistent true three-outcome hitters in the league. He has struck out 104 times in 306 plate appearances (259 at-bats) with 43 walks to his credit. Schwarber has launched a league-high tying 24 homers on the year. Fourteen of those homers have come in 125 at-bats at Citizens Bank Park this season. In addition, Schwarber is hitting .272 at home compared to .223 on the road. The Phillies are playing good ball of late and Schwarber can turn on anyone. Watch for him to go deep in this contest.
