MLB Today’s Best Bets for 06/14: Home Run Picks & Top Player Props

Best MLB Bets Today: Player Props for June 14

Cody Bellinger, Yankees Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130, Fanatics)

Bellinger and the Yankees downed the B\ue Jays 3-1 Saturday north of the border.  Bellinger was one of four with a run scored after homering in five at-bats in Friday’s series opener. For the year, he’s hitting .270 with 14 doubles, three triples, 10 homers and 45 RBI. Bellinger and the Yankees get a crack at Patrick Corbin here on getaway day, a matchup that suits the lefty just fine. He’s 12 of 29 with a double and three RBI in his career against Corbin in his career. Bellinger’s .414/.500.448 slash line shouldn’t be overlooked. It might take a pair of singles as opposed to an extra-base knock but if it cashes, you don’t care how.

Austin Riley, Braves Over 1.5 Total Bases (+160, Fanatics)

Riley is another veteran bat that has struggled this season. He was zero for four with a pair of strikeouts in Atlanta’s 3-1 win over the Mets at Citi Field Saturday. That performance dropped him to a .206 average with 11 doubles, one triple, eight homers and 34 RBI. Fortunately for Riley, he gets some hacks against Freddy Peralta in this contest. In his career, Riley is seven of 16 with a double, two homers and five RBI against Peralta. Meanwhile, he’s hit the Mets well in his career, posting a .279 average with 19 homers and 44 RBI over 308 at-bats against them. Look for Riley to do some damage at the dish here.

Nolan Arenado, Diamondbacks Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115, Fanatics)

Arenado is in a bit of a slump, going a dismal four of 36 (.111) in his last 10 games for the Diamondbacks. All four of those hits were singles so some positive regression is coming. For the year, Arenado has a .243 average with 12 doubles, eight homers and 31 RBI. If there was a matchup that could get him going, it might be this one. In his career, Arenado is a .274 hitter with 12 doubles, a triple, nine homers and 27 RBI in 215 at-bats at the Great American Ball Park. In addition, he is eight of 20 with two homers and six RBI against Andrew Abbott in his career.

Home Run Picks Today (06/14):

Nick Kurtz, Athletics (+210, Fanatics)

Kurtz burst onto the scene as a rookie last year and picked up where he left off in 2026. He enters this one hitting .285 with 16 homers and 50 RBI on the year. Kurtz went deep Friday against the Rockies in the opening game of this series. That gave him eight homers and 13 RBI in his last 14 games. Kurtz is hitting .381 (eight of 21) with four homers and five RBI in five games at the Las Vegas Ballpark this season. With temperatures in the triple-digits at first pitch and no humidity to speak of, it’s a hitter’s paradise. Meanwhile, throw in winds blowing out to center between 10 and 20 miles an hour and you’ve got a recipe for success. Take a flier on Kurtz to go deep here.

Pete Alonso, Orioles (+310, Fanatics)

As the weather warms up, so seemingly is the Polar Bear’s bat. Alonso was three for five with a single, double and a homer in Saturday’s 9-3 loss to the Padres. That marked his third homer in four games and his fourth in the last eight contests. For the year, Alonso is hitting .252 with 13 doubles, 16 homers and 48 RBI entering this one. He’s familiar with Walker Buerler from when both were in the National League. Alonso is five of 17 (.294) in his career against Buehler. In addition, four of those five hits left the yard. This is a good price for the pop that Alonso brings to the table.
