Ward and the Orioles were fell 6-4 to the B\ue Jays Saturday north of the border.  After slamming 36 homers and driving in 103 runs for the Angels last year, his power stroke hasn’t translated to Charm City. Ward entered Sunday hiitting .255 with 16 doubles, two homers and 18 RBI. He’s cleared this prop in three of his last nine games and gets a favorable situation here facing Kevin Gausman. In his career, Ward is six of 15 with two doubles, a triple and a RBI. When a guy has a .400/.400/.667 slash line against a pitcher, you take notice.

Sandy Alcantara, Marlins Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-105, FanDuel)

Alcantara was at his peak in 2021 and 2022, though he’s tapered off in productivity since that point in time. He’s sacrificed some of his strikeouts in exchange for distance. Alcantara saw his K/9 rate drop from 8.8 in 2021 to 6.2 this season. However, he is averaging 6.1 innings per start this season. Alcantara has only 57 punchouts in 82.1 innings of work this year. He hasn’t fanned more than seven hitters in a start this season and has more than five just once in his last 10 starts. Meanwhile, he has to face a Rays’  squad that logs the second-fewest strikeouts per game. Based on what we’ve seen from him, Alcantara likely goes six-plus innings but stays under his strikeout prop.

Emmet Sheehan, Dodgers Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+116, FanDuel)

Sheehan is 3-2 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.155 WHIP over 58 innings of work in 11 starts this season. Meanwhile, he has 62 strikeouts on the year entering this contest. Facing the Angels is a p\us for pitchers when it comes to ringing up strikeouts. The Angels entered Saturday with the highest whiff rate in the league as they have 9.44 strikeouts per contest. That number bumps up slightly to 9.64 punchouts a night on the road. We saw Roki Sasaki record 10 strikeouts in seven scoreless innings Friday night. In addition, Sheehan has gone over this number in four of his last seven starts. He should get seven or eight strikeouts in this one.

Alvarez clobbered a homer in the Astros’ 13-2 win Saturday in the middle game of this set. It marked his fourth homer in the last 10 games and gave him 22 on the season. In addition, he is hitting .316 with 48 RBI entering this game. Alvarez hasn’t faced Gage Jump in his career but he is a dangerous hitter, especially at home. He’s hitting .364 with 11 homers at Daikin Park this year. Meanwhile, in his career, he hits .302 with 86 homers in 1,388 at-bats at Daikin Park. With the way Alvarez is hitting right now, he can turn on any mistake and drive it into the seats. Look for him to put one in the seats again here.A

Colson Montgomery, White Sox (+310, Fanatics)

Montgomery may miss the presence of Munetaka Murakami, who launched 20 homers before hitting the DL last week with a hamstring injury. With that said, he has pop in his bat, with 11 doubles, 16 homers and 38 RBI this season despite a .223 average. Montgomery homered Saturday and he’s facing Aaron Nola, who fell off a cliff last season. Guess what? Nola isn’t much better this year, posting a 5.55 ERA and surrendering 11 home runs in 12 starts over 61.2 innings of work. With favorable weather conditions and a struggling pitcher, he could find the seats again.
