MLB Parlay Picks Today: Best Playoff Bets for Oct. 6

We’ve reached the division series of the MLB postseason and with it comes our top MLB parlay picks today for Tuesday, October 6.
The MLB regular season is in the rearview mirror and for that matter, so is the wild card round. After the American League took center stage with their Game 2s, Tuesday brings us Game 3 of the National League Division Series. Milwaukee heads to San Diego looking for a sweep. Meanwhile, the Dodgers square off with the Braves in a critical Game 3 in Hotlanta. That series is tied at one game apiece.
Let’s take a look at a couple of our favorite parlays and a couple other props that we’re considering as well.
Top MLB Parlay Picks for Tuesday, October 6
Top MLB Player Pick #1
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Dodgers Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+110, Hard Rock)
Chris Sale, Braves Over 7.5 Strikeouts (+120, Hard Rock)
Payout: $462 on a $100 bet ($362 profit)
We’ll start with the NL Division Series matchup between division winners in Hotlanta as the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Atlanta Braves in Game 3. The odds for this particular parlay come to us from Hard Rock.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto gets the start for the Dodgers in this contest. He finished the regular season 14-9 with a 2.53 ERA, a 0.87 WHIP, 42 walks and 182 strikeouts over 183 innings of work over 185 innings in 28 starts. In addition, he’s been terrific in postseason play in his career. Yamamoto is 7-1 with a 2.25 ERA, a 0.839 WHIP, 12 walks and 48 strikeouts over 56 innings in 10 appearances, nine starts.
In addition, Yamamoto pitched well against Atlanta in his career. He is 1-1 with a 0.55 ERA, a 0.857 WHIP, five walks and 17 strikeouts over 16.1 innings against them. Yamamoto has limited current Atlanta hitters to a .196 average (10-for-51) while recording 18 strikeouts (35.3%) in those at-bats. The Braves fanned 19 times in the first two games of this series.
Chris Sale continues to turn back the clock. After going 14-9 with a 2.16 ERA, a 0.984 WHIP, 31 walks and 200 strikeouts over 162.2 innings in the regular season, he’s stayed tough. He is 1-0 with a 3.52 ERA, a 0.783 WHIP, one walk and 12 strikeouts over 7.2 innings of work. Sale won Game 1 of the NL wild card series against the Phillies before closing out the clinching Game 3.
Sale holds current Dodgers in check. Active Dodger hitters own a .200 average (28-for-140) against him in his career. Meanwhile, Sale rang up 41 strikeouts (29.3%) in those at-bats. The Dodgers have fanned 18 times in the first two games. Look for both guys to ring up strikeouts.

Christian Yelich, Brewers Over 0.5 Total Bases (-140, Fanatics)
Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120, Fanatics)
Payout: $377.14 on a $100 bet ($277.14 profit)
For our second parlay, we’ll shift to southern California as the Milwaukee Brewers try to sweep aside the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. The odds for this one come to you courtesy of Fanatics.
Yelich had a down regular season as he played in just 104 games. He hit .235 with 23 doubles, two triples, 12 homers and 59 RBI on the year. In the postseason so far, he is two-for-six (.333) with a double and a stolen base. Meanwhile, in his career, he is seven-for-18 (.389) against Nick Pivetta with two doubles, two homers and nine RBI. I have faith in him getting a knock in this contest.
On the flip side, Tatis Jr. shrugged off a miserable start to the season to be one of the hottest hitters in the majors in the second half of the year. He finished the regular season with a .289 average, 32 doubles, three triples, 25 homers, 83 RBI and 38 steals. He was caught stealing a league-high 13 times. Tatis Jr. sputtered a bit so far in the playoffs, going three-for-17 (.176) with a homer and five strikeouts. However, he is seven-of-29 against Dustin May with a double and a homer.
If the Padres are going to force a Game 4, they need Tatis Jr. to deliver at the top of the order.
Other MLB Player Props for Tuesday, October 6
Ty France, Padres Over 1.5 Total Bases BetMGM, +150
France was a good story for the sport this season. After playing for four different teams in the previous two seasons, he didn’t sign with the Padres until mid-February and that was on a minor league deal. France ended up playing in 133 games, hitting .295 with 24 doubles, two triples, a career-high 21 homers and 72 RBI.
In the postseason, France has swung a hot bat, going seven-for-15 (.467) with a double and two RBI. He narrowly missed what would have been a go-ahead homer in the ninth inning of Game 1 when his blast hit the roof of American Family Field before settling into Jackson Chourio’s glove at the warning track.
Meanwhile, France is four-for-12 (.333) with a homer against Dustin May in his career. Look for France to stay hot with the Padres’ backs to the wall.
Freddie Freeman, Dodgers Over 1.5 Total Bases FanDuel, +190
To finish things off, we’ll look again at the matchup between the Dodgers and the Braves at Truist Park.
We talked before about how much success the pitchers have had against the opposing lineups. If there is one hitter that has had some success against the opposing starter, it may be Freeman. He finished the year hitting .288 with 32 doubles, one triple, 16 homers and 70 RBI on the year. Meanwhile, in the first two games of this series, he is three-for-seven (.429) with a solo homer.
Freeman gets to return to a park he has familiarity with, having spent the first dozen years of his career with Atlanta. He owns a career .302 average with 71 doubles, three triples, 73 homers and 244 RBI in 340 career games at Truist Park. Meanwhile, against Sale, he is five-for-16 (.313) with two doubles, two homers and four RBI. Seeing how he has started in the series, look for him to cash in here.
