Aaron Nola is set to start for the Philadelphia Phillies when they visit the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. Matt Olson to hit a home run on DraftKings Sportsbook is my top MLB home run prop Friday.

Nola is not a pitcher I need to overthink at this point. He can still pitch a strong game, but he is prone to dishing out the long ball. This season, he has allowed a career-high fly-ball rate, a career-high barrel rate, and an ISO north of .200 to left-handed hitters.

That is the exact profile I want to attack with Olson. The Braves slugger is having another monster power season and has an expected ISO of .295 against right-handed pitching. He continues to crush baseballs at an elite rate, and his advanced contact metrics remain among the best in the sport.

Olson doesn't need many chances to make an impact. Nola’s elevated fly-ball and barrel rates create a dangerous matchup for a hitter who already has 37 home runs and owns the kind of pull-side power that can change a game on one swing.

Truist Park is a favorable venue for Atlanta’s left-handed bats, and Olson gets the platoon advantage against a right-hander who has struggled to keep that side of the plate in the yard.

MLB Home Run Predictions: Dylan Crews

Next, we’ll head to Washington, where the Nationals host the Los Angeles Angels. Dylan Crews to hit a home run on DraftKings is another MLB home run prop I’m on Friday.

Yusei Kikuchi takes the mound for Los Angeles after returning from an extended absence earlier this season. The left-hander has allowed plenty of right-handed power, surrendering a .222 ISO to righties so far in 2026. He's historically been a fly-ball pitcher, and that makes him an appealing target against pretty much anyone.

Crews has done his best work against left-handed pitching. In 121 plate appearances against southpaws this season, he has six home runs, a .231 ISO, and a .509 slugging percentage. The sample is not massive, but the production is real, and the matchup is tailor-made for his right-handed power.

I’m always interested in Crews when he faces a southpaw, and this is one of the better spots he has seen lately. MLB odds move quickly, so it’s worth checking the top sports betting apps before locking in a home run pick today!

MLB Strikeout Props Today: Chris Sale

For my MLB strikeout prop today, I’m taking Chris Sale under 7.5 strikeouts at -103 on DraftKings.

Fading Sale is never comfortable. The 37-year-old is having another remarkable season, with a 2.10 ERA and 184 strikeouts in 150 innings. He can absolutely dominate any lineup on a given night.

However, the Phillies have quietly become one of the best teams in baseball against left-handed pitching. Since the beginning of August, Philadelphia owns the second-lowest strikeout rate against southpaws and ranks fourth in weighted runs created plus in the split.

That is especially notable because this is not a lineup loaded with premium right-handed bats. Philadelphia’s left-handed hitters have been locked in against lefties, and the club has improved its contact profile dramatically.

Sale could pitch well and still fall short of eight strikeouts. If Philadelphia makes consistent contact, the veteran may not have enough opportunities to clear this number. And if the Phillies can force him to work through traffic, that only strengthens the under.

This is a bet on the Phillies’ recent approach against left-handed pitching. This is a game where I think we can see some runs when you factor in Nola's massive fly-ball rate and how pesky the Phillies have been against left-handed starting pitching over the last five weeks or so.
