MLB Parlay Picks and Same Game Parlay for Aug. 24: Best Bets Across Monday’s MLB Slate

Monday opens a new week around baseball with plenty of options for bettors looking to build a multi-leg ticket. Today’s MLB parlay picks start with Texas visiting the White Sox, where we’re combining a Chicago win with a low game total and one Texas hitter to produce.
From there, we’ll spread picks across three separate games before finishing with a two-player home run parlay offering a much larger payout. There's no shortage of news this time of year in the MLB, especially as the postseason nears.
Best Same Game Parlay for Aug. 24
Texas and Chicago provide an interesting same game parlay because the three legs don’t require one team to completely dominate. We’re backing the White Sox at home in a lower-scoring game while still giving Rangers outfielder Brandon Nimmo room to contribute at the plate.
White Sox Moneyline, Under 8.5 Runs, Brandon Nimmo to Record a Hit
The White Sox moneyline is the foundation of the ticket at -129. Chicago doesn’t need to cover a run line or create any separation. A one-run win works just fine, which is why the odds are appealing here.
Pairing that with under 8.5 runs gives us a clear game script. If the White Sox can control the game and keep Texas from putting together multiple big innings, something in the range of 4-2 or 4-3 would be ideal.
Nimmo landing just one hit is the piece that doesn’t require us to completely fade the Texas lineup. The Rangers outfielder only needs one hit, so he can cash his leg without doing enough damage to wreck the under or Chicago moneyline. That makes this a more balanced same game parlay than simply stacking three White Sox-friendly outcomes.
Same Game Parlay Breakdown
- Brandon Nimmo over 0.5 hits: -242
- Under 8.5 runs: -119
- White Sox moneyline: -129

MLB Parlay Picks for Aug. 24
Bettors don’t have to stay inside one matchup when building MLB parlay picks. Moneylines, player props, totals and spreads can all be combined from around the league, and the next two tickets give us one relatively straightforward group of winners before taking a much bigger swing in the home run market.
Phillies, Guardians and Rays Moneyline Parlay
This ticket combines three teams that are all priced as favorites, but none carries an overwhelming number individually.
Philadelphia is nearly a pick’em at -115 on the road in Seattle, which makes the Phillies the value leg of the three. Instead of laying a heavy price, we’re simply asking Philadelphia to leave Seattle with a win.
Cleveland is the strongest favorite at -167 against the Angels. That shorter payout makes the Guardians a useful anchor for the ticket, especially when combined with the more manageable prices on Philadelphia and Tampa Bay.
The Rays finish things off at -135 in Detroit. Tampa Bay has enough offensive upside throughout the lineup to make that price appealing without needing the Rays to cover a run line. All three clubs simply need to win outright to get this one home.

- Guardians moneyline: -167
- Rays moneyline: -135

Oneil Cruz and Junior Caminero Home Run Parlay
The final parlay is easily Monday’s biggest swing. Oneil Cruz recently returned to the Pirates after an extended injury absence and immediately reminded everyone of his power by homering in his first game back in the starting lineup. At +379 against San Diego, he offers plenty of upside if he gets one pitch to drive.
Junior Caminero provides the second leg for Tampa Bay against Detroit. Caminero has established himself as one of the premier power threats in the Rays lineup, and +300 is a solid price for a hitter capable of changing a game with one swing.
Home run parlays are always volatile, but pairing two hitters with this type of raw power is exactly how to approach a ticket offering an 18-to-1 return.
Home Run Parlay Breakdown
- Oneil Cruz over 0.5 home runs: +379
- Junior Caminero over 0.5 home runs: +300
- Parlay odds: +1816 via BetMGM
