Wednesday’s MLB slate brings a mix of afternoon and evening games, giving bettors plenty of flexibility when building parlays. Today’s MLB parlay picks start in Milwaukee, where Seattle will try to bounce back behind Logan Gilbert after getting blown out 22-0 in Tuesday’s series opener. From there, we’ll move to a three-team moneyline parlay before finishing with two of the better power hitters in baseball.

Best Same Game Parlay for Aug. 19

Seattle is coming off an ugly loss, but Wednesday gives the Mariners their best chance to respond with Gilbert on the mound. This same game parlay leans into a bounce-back win while also asking Gilbert to rack up strikeouts and the two teams to combine for at least eight runs.

Mariners Moneyline, Over 7 Runs, Logan Gilbert Over 6.5 Strikeouts

The Mariners moneyline is the boldest part of this ticket after Milwaukee’s 22-run explosion Tuesday, but Gilbert changes the outlook considerably. The Seattle right-hander enters Wednesday with a 3.28 ERA and a consistent output, giving the Mariners a legitimate ace to lean on.

Gilbert also struck out seven Yankees over six scoreless innings in his most recent start. That makes over 6.5 strikeouts a reasonable target, especially because he has shown he can reach that number without needing to work especially deep into a game.

The over seven might seem to work against the Gilbert angle, but both can cash in the same game and have solid odds. Seattle needs offense to pull the upset, while Milwaukee just showed how dangerous its lineup can be. Brewers starter Dustin May enters with an ERA above 4.00, so something like a 5-3 Seattle win would get all three legs home.

MLB Parlay Picks for Aug. 19

Bettors don’t have to stay within one matchup when building MLB parlay picks, and Wednesday offers plenty of ways to combine action from around the league. Moneylines, player props, totals and other markets can all be mixed together, which gives us two very different tickets for the rest of the slate.

Dodgers, Astros and Rangers Moneyline Parlay

Los Angeles is the shortest price of the group at -199 on most betting apps, but there is plenty to like about backing the Dodgers at Coors Field. They enter Wednesday at 75-51 and already scored 11 runs in Monday’s series opener, giving them a sizable talent advantage over Colorado.

Houston is home against an Angels team well below .500. The Astros are in the middle of a tight AL West race and have much more to play for down the stretch, making the -166 moneyline a reasonable second leg as Houston looks to get revenge for its loss last night.

Texas rounds out the ticket against Washington. The Rangers are also fighting for position in the AL West and Wild Card races, and the -130 price keeps the combined payout attractive without asking Texas to cover a run line, especially after its dominant win last night.

Moneyline Parlay Breakdown

Junior Caminero and Matt Olson Home Run Parlay

This is the high-upside swing of Wednesday’s card. Junior Caminero has already hit 35 home runs for Tampa Bay and has five over his last 15 games. He also gets a matchup against Max Scherzer, who enters Wednesday with a 6.59 ERA, making +290 an appealing home run price for one of the Rays’ most dangerous hitters.

Matt Olson is just as easy to trust from a power standpoint. The Braves first baseman has 36 home runs this season, with his latest coming on a three-run shot Sunday. Combining two established power threats obviously brings plenty of variance, but that risk is exactly why the payout climbs into four figures.

Home Run Parlay Breakdown

Wednesday’s card gives bettors a balance of approaches, from backing an ace-led Seattle rebound to pairing three favorites or swinging for two home runs. As always, shop around for the best available numbers before locking in any MLB parlay picks for Aug. 19.
