Tuesday’s MLB slate gives bettors several different ways to chase plus-money payouts, with player props, moneylines and game totals all in play. Today’s MLB parlay picks start with the White Sox and Cubs at Wrigley Field, where Chicago’s offense is at the center of a three-leg same game parlay.

From there, we’ll move around the league with a three-team moneyline ticket before finishing with two dangerous power hitters to leave the yard, which are especially interesting when using the latest sportsbook promos.

Best Same Game Parlay for Aug. 18

The White Sox and Cubs offer an interesting same game parlay opportunity because this ticket can be built around one simple game script, which is Chicago winning another game in which the offenses produce runs. Pete Crow-Armstrong adds the player prop element without requiring him to hit another home run as he continues his potential MVP run.

Cubs Moneyline, Over 8.5 Runs, Pete Crow-Armstrong to Record an RBI

The Cubs moneyline is the foundation of this parlay. Chicago is at home and has enough offensive firepower throughout the lineup to justify laying -159 odds against the White Sox.

The over 8.5 pairs naturally with that approach. Rather than needing the Cubs to completely carry the total themselves, both teams can contribute, and nine combined runs is a reasonable number to target in a matchup featuring two offenses capable of putting together crooked innings.

Crow-Armstrong over 0.5 RBI is the most interesting leg at +150. He’s one of the most dangerous hitters in the Cubs lineup and has both the power and run-producing opportunities to drive somebody home. More importantly, we don’t need him to hit a home run. A single with a runner in scoring position, sacrifice fly or extra-base hit can all get the job done.

If Chicago wins a game that gets into the 6-4 or 7-3 range, there’s a good chance Crow-Armstrong has an opportunity to contribute to the scoring along the way.

MLB Parlay Picks for Aug. 18

Bettors don’t have to stay inside one matchup when putting together a parlay. Moneylines, player props, spreads, totals and other markets from around the league can all be combined, and Tuesday’s two additional tickets take very different approaches.

Nationals, Cardinals and Yankees Moneyline Parlay

Washington is the leg that creates the most value here. The Nationals are +134 on the road against Texas, so an outright win immediately gives this parlay a significant boost.

St. Louis is a much shorter price at -120 against Cincinnati. The Cardinals don’t need to cover a run line or win comfortably, they simply need to take care of business against a divisional opponent.

The Yankees round out the ticket at -116 against Baltimore. New York has enough star power throughout its lineup to make a near-even-money price appealing, particularly in a ticket where the Nationals are already providing the underdog upside.

This isn’t about needing any of the three teams to dominate. All Washington, St. Louis and New York have to do is finish the night with a win.

Fernando Tatis Jr. and Pete Alonso Home Run Parlay

This is easily the biggest swing of the day, but that’s also reflected in the payout. Fernando Tatis Jr. remains one of the most dangerous power hitters in San Diego’s lineup, and at +340, one big swing against the Mets creates the first half of a sizable return.

Pete Alonso brings a similar profile against the Yankees. Alonso has been one of baseball’s premier home run threats throughout his career, and few hitters are better suited for this type of all-or-nothing parlay.

Neither player needs multiple hits or a huge overall performance. We’re simply betting on each slugger getting one pitch to drive and taking advantage of it.
