Brewers vs. Rays Prediction, Odds and Props for Oct. 27: Milwaukee Wins it All!

The Milwaukee Brewers are on the brink of their first-ever World Series title after laying a 10-1 beatdown on the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 of the Fall Classic. In this Brewers vs. Rays prediction, you can get the latest odds, betting trends, the starting pitching matchup, player props, and more.
Series Recap
After winning two one-run games in the first two games of this series, the Brewers were not kind to the Tampa Bay fans in the 10-1 Game 3 rout. To say the Brew Crew came up clutch would be an understatement, as they set a World Series record by scoring all eight runs in the fifth inning with two outs.
Milwaukee had no home runs in Game 3, with eight players getting an RBI; Christian Yelich and Brice Turang each had two. The Rays didn't get on the board until the ninth inning, when Yandy Diaz hit a run-scoring double.

Starting Pitching Matchup
Brewers
Brandon Woodruff looked like he would Game 4 but ended up closing out Game 3 in his first action since early July due to injury. Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy is expected to go to a bullpen game, so Shane Drohan, Dustin May, and Kyle Harrison could get the starting nod. With Game 3 starter Robert Gasser going six innings and the Brew Crew blowing the game open in the fifth inning, the team rested all its key bullpen arms.
A bullpen start doesn't bode well for the Rays, as the Brewers’ bullpen has been lights out in the playoffs and has given up two runs in 13 innings in this series.
Rays
Griffin Jax (8-10, 3.53 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) gets the call for the Rays, who are 1-1 in his two post-season appearances. In the first, he worked out of the bullpen and gave up one run in two innings in a win; in the last, he gave up three runs in four innings in a 3-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians in the ALCS. The three runs he gave up in his last outing marked the first time in four starts he allowed more than one; in his last four regular-season starts, he allowed only one run in 17 innings.
Jax worked out of the bullpen twice in the early-season series against the Brewers, not giving up any runs in one inning in the first appearance and then getting lit up for five runs in the next without recording an out. Over the season, he logged 112 1/3 innings, striking out 116 and walking 35.
You can be sure when the World Series is over that it will not be long for the most popular US sportsbooks to post futures odds for next season's Fall Classic.
Brewers vs. Rays Prediction: Brewers ML -139
I have picked the Brewers and the moneyline in all three games, so why stop now? They have all the momentum, and the Rays have to be dejected after getting blown out at home in Game 3. Tampa has had very little success against the Milwaukee bullpen, and with an expected bullpen game, that will continue. Once again, the Brew Crew will get great bullpen work and clutch hitting, which is why they will take Game 4 and win their first-ever World Series title.
Brewers vs. Rays Picks, Props and Best Bets
- Griffin Jax to record Over 10.5 outs: (+100, BetMGM) – I think Jax will have a pretty good start, and he has lasted until the fourth inning in four of his last five starts and averaged 13.4 outs recorded per game this season.
- Jackson Chourio Over 0.5 RBIs: (+181, DraftKings) – I took this prop in Game 3 as well, where Chourio had an RBI, and will take it again, as he leads the Brewers with nine RBIs in the 11 postseason games and has an RBI in two of three games in the World Series.
- William Contreras to record 2+ bases: (+109, DraftKings) – I have taken this prop in all three games of this series where Contreras had 2+ bases in each one. He is batting a scorching .417 in the playoffs and has 28 total bases in the 11 post-season games.
