2019 leader: OF Mookie Betts – 135 (150 games)

Betts is the betting favorite to retain his crown at both books despite moving from the AL East to NL West in the offseason trade between the Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. The 2018 AL MVP leads Trout and Atlanta Braves OF Ronald Acuna Jr. Cleveland Indians SS Francisco Lindor is +1100 at both books.

The first major difference is with new Angels 3B Anthony Rendon. He is +2900 at FanDuel but +4000 at DraftKings. New York Mets 1B Pete Alonso, who won the home run title and ranked 21st with 103 runs as a rookie in 2019, is +7500 at DraftKings but just +3000 at FanDuel.

2019 leader: 3B Anthony Rendon – 126 (146 games)

Arenado is a small favorite over Dodgers OF and reigning NL MVP Cody Bellinger at +1200 to +1300. Trout shares the third-best odds at +1500. While he hasn’t led the league in RBI since his lone playoff season of 2014, he is surrounded by the best team of his career.

Alonso, who can drive himself in via what’s projected to be a league-leading homer total, is another value at +2000.

No 2020 stat race is led by such a heavy favorite. Cole, who moved from the Astros to the Yankees in free agency, is +220 at FanDuel and +225 at DraftKings. Nationals ace Max Scherzer is second at both books with +600 odds at FanDuel and +550 odds at DraftKings. Astros SP Justin Verlander and Mets SP Jacob deGrom follow suit in different orders.

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Robbie Ray is a potential value at +4000 at DraftKings. Padres SP Chris Paddack, who is unlisted at DraftKings, is an intriguing option at +6500 at FanDuel.

2019 leader: Kirby Yates – 41 (60 games)

Yankees RP Aroldis Chapman is a co-favorite at both books we’re looking at for our 2020 MLB futures. He is +800 at DraftKings but +650 at FanDuel while closing for the No. 2 World Series favorite at both books. Chapman is tied with Astros RP Roberto Osuna at FanDuel and Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen at DraftKings. Chicago Cubs RP Craig Kimbrel is +900 at DraftKings but +1200 at FanDuel.

Yates is +1000 at both books as the reigning champ. Cincinnati Reds RP Raisel Iglesias is +1200 at FanDuel but a value at +2200 at DraftKings backing a much-improved lineup and starting rotation.
