When will Michael Thomas be back, return to the Saints?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted on the morning of Nov. 3 that Thomas is "out for the season after suffering an ankle injury."

Saints backers and fantasy football owners are wondering when will Michael Thomas be back and return to the playing field for New Orleans. The Saints placed Thomas on the physically unable to perform list in late August and he is now eligible to return to the playing field.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Oct. 18 that Thomas was still "a couple weeks away [from returning and playing]."

Based on Rapoport's reporting, the Saints' game against Atlanta in early November looks like a possible return date. New Orleans plays at the Titans and at the Eagles in the following weeks.
