NOTABLE masters TEE TIMES
At 9:47 a.m. on Thursday, Collin Morikawa joins Joaquin Niemann and Min Woo Lee at Augusta. Morikawa has risen to world No. 4 after a pair of runner-up finishes. However, the two-time major champion hasn’t won on TOUR since 2023.
Morikawa will play the first two rounds at Augusta National alongside Niemann, who nabbed a special exemption into the 2025 Masters’ field. Meanwhile, Lee earned his first TOUR title at the Texas Children’s Houston Open two weeks ago.
As for the abovementioned Scheffler, the two-time Masters champion (2022 and 2024) will aim to become the first to successfully defend a green jacket since Tiger Woods did so in 2001-02. Thomas is a two-time major champ (2017 and 2022 PGA Championship).
Even though he hasn’t won on TOUR in nearly three years, he’s come close in 2025, including a runner-up at the Valspar Championship in March. Ballester, the Arizona State senior, won the 2024 U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine and represents the event’s first Spanish winner to qualify for his first Masters.

2025 MASTERS WEATHER: AUGUSTA, GEORGIA FORECAST
Rain: The tournament looks to be rain-free due to favorable timing. Showers and possible thunderstorms could move into Augusta on Thursday night after the first round concludes. But the rain is expected to dissipate when the second round tees off on Friday morning. We can’t rule out a stray shower on Friday afternoon, but the chance appears too low to worry about for now.
Temperatures: Heat should be a concern, either. Expect chilly mornings with lows in the 40s on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, the event should feature enjoyable daytime highs and low humidity.
Winds: Behind the potential cold front on Friday, some gusts over 20 mph in the forecast. Nevertheless, winds are unlikely to impact the field over the weekend.
