It’s most golf fans’ favorite time of year and every PGA TOUR bettor’s Christmas: Masters week. BetMGM released a list of the most-bet Masters prop bets along with the top choice by bettors for each category. We’re here to share it with you. From the odds for a hole-in-one to the top senior finisher, this list has it all.
Jordan Spieth, coming off a victory at the Valero Texas Open, is a popular pick. He is the most bet option across several Masters prop bets. Those include top American finisher (+750) and outright tournament winner (+1100). He’s finished top three at Augusta National four times in just seven appearances, making him the player with the most tickets in the top-five market as well at +225. Spieth is the top liability for several sportsbooks in the outright market with percentages in bet count and handle well over double digits.
Defending champion Dustin Johnson also has the highest ticket count under a couple props. That includes odds to have a bogey-free round (+300).
One of bettors’ favorite props this year is the ‘Big Five’ against the field. In this instance, that comprises of Johnson, Spieth, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm. The odds of the 2021 Masters champion being from that group is +125.
Proving age is just a number, 63-year-old German Berhard Langer made headlines in November at Augusta, finishing ahead of DeChambeau on the leaderboard. That was despite Bryson’s bombs consistently flying by where Langer’s tee shots would settle. Langer is the most popular choice to finish as the top senior in this year’s tournament at +400. Langer has made the cut in three consecutive Masters and finished top 40 in three of the previous five years at Augusta.
