Masters Prop Bets: hole-in-one Odds

As you browse Masters hole-in-one odds, you may be surprised that the odds for an ace this week are not longer. Keep in mind that these guys are insanely good. Tradition is everything at Augusta National, and players learn one year at a time how to attack the greens and the pin locations. There was no hole-in-one last year at The Masters. No hole-in-one props may be of interest if you are looking for plus money.

Watch: Cink’s 2022 Masters Hole-In-One On No. 16

Cink was the most recent player to card at ace at Augusta. The holed out 8-iron by Cink was on a Friday (Round 2). The 16th hole is especially intriguing for the players to go after hole-in-one opportunities, as a slope gives players the chance to get next to the pin (or in the cup) if they hit it in just the right spot.

The ball tends to funnel towards this pin location. The green on this par-3 slopes from right to left and somewhat back towards the water. When the pin is on the left side (as it always is on the final day), the ball will filter down towards it.

If a player gets the length of his tee shot right and finds any part of the putting surface from the center to the left side, he’ll have a realistic chance to get it close.

Bottom Line

In my opinion, the best bet among Masters hole-in-one odds is taking a YES for a hole-in-one on 16. It has happened there 13 times since 2010. You can find the best odds for that at BetMGM (-120).

I also think taking a chance on a hole-in-one in Round 1 or Round 2 might be worth a shot for better odds. DraftKings and BetRivers each have (+600) available for an ace in either of the first two rounds.
