Masters Best Bets 2026: Expert Golf Picks This Week at Augusta
It's that time of year again — The Masters is set, and we're ready to roll with our Masters Best Bets 2026 for the biggest golf tournament on the planet, beginning on Thursday, April 9 at Augusta National. There's no shortage of PGA picks this week, with just about every top player in the world competing. That only makes finding legitimate Masters picks more challenging, but there's plenty of value on a few outright winners.
The obvious outright bets are at the top of the golf odds board. Scottie Scheffler checks in at +500 on FanDuel Sportsbook, while Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm are both +1000. There's a handful of serious contenders inside 20-1 as well. For the purpose of finding the best Masters picks in terms of bang for our buck, let's focus outside of +2000 on players with a genuine shot to slip on the green jacket.
Masters Best Bets 2026: Cameron Young
Let's talk about my favorite outright play among our Masters 2026 picks — Cameron Young at +2200 on FanDuel Sportsbook. Young has been a bit inconsistent over the past couple of seasons, but the 28-year-old looks like he's flipped his game to a whole new level in 2026. He's fresh off a win at The Players Championship, where he picked up 2.01 approach strokes gained on the field, per Data Golf. He's also a very good putter, which helps close out tournaments on Sundays.
The form speaks for itself. Since last August, Young has won twice and racked up six top-10 finishes across 11 tournaments played. His Masters history is pretty much a microcosm of his career up until recently — two missed cuts in the last four years, but also two top-10 finishes. In both missed cuts, he lost strokes putting and on approach. The good news is that in his last three tournaments, Young has gained strokes in both departments. The game is trending the right way heading into Augusta.
One more piece of data worth noting: Young ranks fifth on Tour in approach shot performance from 175 to 200 yards this season. Augusta rewards precision iron play, and that's exactly where Young is thriving right now. He's my favorite play outside of 20-1 for Masters best bets this week.
Best Bet: Cameron Young to Win The Masters FanDuel, +2200
Expert Golf Picks This Week: Patrick Reed
Let's discuss Patrick Reed at +3500 on FanDuel Sportsbook. He's not a fan favorite, and a lot of people don't agree with his style of play or some of his decisions on the course. But you simply can't argue with how good he's been at Augusta. He's the 2018 Masters champion and hasn't missed a cut here since 2017. He's finished top four or better in two of the last three years, and since 2020, he's finished in the top 12 during five of his six appearances.
Reed is also a fantastic putter who has been on fire on the DP World Tour, picking up two wins this season against admittedly lesser competition. More importantly, he noted in an interview this week that he can't remember the last time he took a couple of weeks off, which means he'll arrive at Augusta well-rested and ready to go.
Reed simply loves playing here, and he's been in considerably better form lately. I'll sprinkle finishing position props on Reed — the top-five and top-ten numbers at comparable odds to Jordan Spieth make this one of the most versatile Masters best bets on the board.
Best Bet: Patrick Reed to Win The Masters FanDuel, +3500
New Users – Bet $5 Get $250 If Your Bet Wins! Masters Picks This Week: Jordan Spieth
Jordan Spieth is the true wild card among our PGA picks this week. At one point, I thought he was going to be the next great golfer of his generation, and the talent is still undeniably there. But Spieth goes through his peaks and valleys. That said, the Masters has always been his rock.
Since 2014, he's missed only two cuts at Augusta. He won it in 2015 and has three other finishes of T-4 or better. He finished fourth in 2023, was cut in 2024, and finished 14th last year despite actually losing approach strokes on the field.
The encouraging sign: Spieth has picked up approach strokes on the field in his last five tournaments. He's always been a magician around the greens, which is a huge part of why Augusta suits his game so well. At 45-1 he's a sneaky value. I'll also sprinkle +250 for a top-10 finish and +550 for a top-five finish on FanDuel Sportsbook. Both are worth a small play at those prices.
Best Bet: Jordan Spieth to Win The Masters FanDuel, +4500
Golf Betting Tips
Golf outright betting is extremely hard. Only one player wins, and there's no shortage of talent. This is a long-game exercise — one winning bet can make your entire season. Practice extremely small unit sizes when targeting outright winners. Good luck, and enjoy The Masters!
