When will Marquise Brown return and be back with Cardinals?

The Cardinals are scratching and clawing to remain relevant in the NFC West. Arizona traded for WR Robbie Anderson and have gotten DeAndre Hopkins back from suspension in recent weeks. But they could certainly use a boost from a returning Brown. So when will Marquise Brown return and be back with the Cardinals?

The good news is that it appears Brown will return this season after it was initially feared that this could be a season-ender. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said that the injury was a “small, non-surgical fracture” and that he is looking at around a six week recovery. Brown added to the speculation that he will be back sooner rather than later when he posted on Instagram, “Back Soon. Don’t Trip.”

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said on November 14 that Brown is “day-to-day.” The Cardinals opened Brown’s 21-day activation window on November 16, which makes his return for this Sunday’s game against the Chargers likely. Here is a look at the most likely return dates for Brown.

  • Week 12 Sunday, November 27: Chargers at Cardinals
  • Week 14 Monday, December 12: Patriots at Cardinals
