NFL week 7 look ahead lines

NFL Week 7 look-ahead lines are out. Two high-flying passing offenses collide in Philadelphia as the Miami Dolphins face the Eagles. Early markets favor the Eagles, but south of the key number of -3.

Every week, usually on Friday, TheLines will post look-ahead lines for the following week’s games, pulled from NFL betting sites. These look aheads give an early snapshot of the current market opinions of teams absent the week-to-week bias that can take hold following weekend results. Week 7 NFL NFL Primetime Games

Thursday Night Football Odds

FanDuel Sportsbook is a bit more bullish on the Jaguars, but they are in a bit of a tough spot flying home from London this week. Should they come out flat in a divisional matchup where the Colts are playing to stay in the division race, Saints odds could flip to short home favorites, but New Orleans also has a tough assignment in Houston.

Sunday Night Football Odds

Miami has done nothing but crush the opposition, aside from the stinker in Buffalo. But, as massive home favorites over a Carolina team occupying the bottom of everyone’s NFL power rankings, can they do anything to realistically improve their market rating? Even a blowout win is essentially expected here. Regardless of their performance, even with an Eagles loss in New York against the Jets, it seems hard to imagine them ever heading into next weekend as an underdog.

Monday Night Football Odds

Monday Night Football could have been a banger, but the Vikings suddenly look like they may head into a subtle tank. They’ve placed WR Justin Jefferson on IR and announced running mate Jordan Addison is questionable for Week 6. Facing the Bears, though, the Vikings may still look like a competent offense.

If that happens, and the 49ers wagon finally slows down in a difficult road game against Cleveland, bettors may find discounted 49ers odds appealing in this spot at a touchdown or below.

MORE POTENTIAL WEEK 6 IMPACT ON WEEK 7 LOOK-AHEAD LINES

Cardinals At Seahawks

The Seahawks and Rams have very similar team constructions. Both teams rely heavily on passing offenses revolving around star WRs. And the Cardinals’ secondary has been shredded thus far. If the Rams have their way in Week 6, then expect Seahawks odds to nudge past the key number. But if the Cardinals can find some defense, then we could also see Cardinals odds at +6.5 here.

Browns At Colts

The Browns seem to be in a state of flux at the QB position. By the time Week 6 is played, it will have been two weeks since reports leaked that Deshaun Watson was medically cleared to play. However, it sounds like PJ Walker is now in line to draw a start, after rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson previously relieved him only to author a dud against Baltimore. Walker will likely find the going very tough against San Francisco.

If Watson appears on track to miss more time, then Colts odds will likely flip to short favorites here unless Walker has another heroic performance. Of course, Gardner Minshew must hold up his end and continue excelling with Anthony Richardson sidelined.

HOW TO USE NFL LOOK-AHEAD LINES

The look-ahead lines allow you a sneak peek at the projected lines for the following week’s games. This information from a leading sports betting site will help provide lessons in understanding lines and projections before the current week’s games are played.

Many bettors tend to overreact to the previous week’s scores and results. The NFL Week 7 look-ahead lines provide a sense of stability from the oddsmaker. They sometimes offer a clear, unbiased snapshot of perceived team strength.

Bettors can also gain an edge or find value in the lines once the weekend results take hold. See if you can find any over- or under-reactions by the market.

Of course, always take note of key injuries, travel and scheduling situations, and NFL power rankings. Adjustments are part of the process, along with accounting for teams’ strengths and weaknesses, against-the-spread angles, and personnel matchups.
